Thanks for the generous offer! I'll keep it in mind!

    Found six more Ten Fidy's.
    I'm so screwed.

After a couple of pours from the BCBS growler I decided it was time to slow things down a bit and save some for dessert. Glad I grabbed this beauty. [IMG]

Not a shock to the palate at all. Actually very enjoyable. Beer + NFL Draft + large cuts of meat waiting to be grilled - angry, super-pregnant wife= Pretty happy dude. Happy Saturday fellow BAs.

The fam is kickin' it at a Traverse City, MI hotel for mama's day and had to switch rooms. I moved all the "stuff" by myself, so a little thirsty. Again, supporting a MI brewery. I know, poor me. Cheers BA!

Curious as to how that 3 year old Hopslam is drinking. I had a 2012 with about 9 months on it and actually really enjoyed it. Obviously not nearly as good as fresh, but it had some decent American Barleywine components. At 3 years it's either become undrinkable or developed further into a Barleywine. Why don't u drink that and update us on how's it's tasting?

Last bottle of my Citra-Nugget IPA, after 6 weeks in the bottle it really came together, not getting a lot of tropical but definitely lots of sweet grapefruit. I just bottled an all Galaxy IPA this week and probably won't open any til at least 4 weeks now. The bottle conditioning wait is easily the hardest wait in human existence.

Gettin' rid of a TenFidy right the hell now. Having 10 in my stash seemed ridiculous.

Of course, for me, this is early...and now I've stepped into The Twilight Zone...

Up early so that I could attend my little brothers graduation. Had to get a workout in prior:

10 Min EMOM - 1 Clean at 85-90% or until two failed lifts

    then

5 x 3 min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)
    25m prowler push
    10kb swings
    -rest 90 sec btw rds

    then

    CTB Tabata
    then
    Shoulder press Tabata

So my little bro’s graduation...he was literally one of 5-10 guys in his specific college out of somewhere around 200+ students. I DEFINITELY chose the wrong major...

Meanwhile, my kick-ass girlfriend was competing in a crossfit competition. Sad I couldn’t watch her crush but she understood (pic from a different event but you get the gist).

I will honor your request and drink the 2011 Hopslam and report back later. Yes, I'm expecting a Bell's Honey Barley wine with that one. Good thing I love Barley wines.

(Found three more 2011 Hopslams in their six pack carton and a bunch of TenFidy. This is starting to scare me a little.)

63 degrees and sunny outside. I have a few ticks I have to knock off, now, in order:

I ate five grilled and seasoned hot dogs. Five!!!

    Oliva Nub Habano. Lovely.

Stone Smoked Porter with Vanilla Bean

Tasty, but not great. Very little smoke flavor; very thin for a porter; good amounts of vanilla in the nose, but very little in the flavor. All of that said, it's pretty damn drinkable, very bitter, and gets the job done.

    Cheers!

Tree House Green. About 2hrs old. Yummy, piney, tropical, citrusy dankness. Was hoping to get another growler of Julius as well but I guess Julius ran out last night. 2 growlers of Green is more than consolation enough.
