    LOVE the almost empty glass, especially when everyone posts a full glass and rock-n-roll fist pump to the Pacers! (originally from Indiana and was transplanted out east, still am a big Pacers fan)...I miss Reggie Miller and still remember that playoff series with Jordan and the Bulls, Indiana was playing great and blew it in Game 5.

    Watching the Coyotes/Kings on mute, listening to the live internet broadcast of the Slash and the Conspirators show from NYC, and sipping on an Arcadia Ales Hopmouth. Couldn't be better... unless it was a weekend night and I didn't need to get up in the morning.

    Chicago Craft Beer Week continues after last night's Firestone Walker tap takeover at Revolution Brewing: 2011 Parabola, 15th Anniversary, Wookey Jack, and Sucaba. Tonight, Founders Breakfast Stout on tap at Bar on Buena (you got to keep the Founders Brewing Company script snifter) and the fresh batch of GI BCBS and Big John on tap at Beer Bistro (not to mention FFF Zombie Dust as well as other phenomenal brews on tap). Finishing with this:

    Had my first gratzer tonight. It was interesting, and it wasn't bad, but I'm not dying to pick up some more. I got it from my local's Beer of the Month club, and stuff like this is why I like the club, it gets me trying beers I never would have picked up on my own.

    About to follow it up with a Great Lakes Blackout Stout.

    a great black IPA. The aromas are great with big orange rind, pine, earth, and grapefruit with a fair amount of roast and chocolate. Flavors are much of the same, but I was hoping for a bit more roast over hop flavors.

    Great Belgian Christmas ale. Big complexity with big cherry, date, raisin, cinnamon, molasses, candi sugar, orange rind, nutmeg, and earthy peppery spices.

    Started the night with my first ever Green Flash West Coast IPA...split it with my wife and she said "You gotta buy more of that"... I think she's right.
    Drinking a Lake Erie Monster right now.
