Pretty sure this one is going to be a hit though. Had the Bruery version... holy hell was that good. If anyone is on the fence for this one, go and get it!

Is there really no coffee in this one? That's supposed to be a key element.

Bourbon, cherry, vanilla, coffee were perfectly melded in the Bruery version. I'd like to think if they collaborated on a recipe, both beers would have the same ingredient list. Have to wait for some check ins I guess.

The three floyds version was brewed by them and barrel aged by them. No infection.

Just cracked it open. It's effin phenomenal. For an imperial porter I'm very impressed. The bourbon is predominant, but not overwhelming. It actually balances out quite well from a beer that's not aged. I hardly get any cherry at all. At 14.4% ABV it's frickin impressive. And no I didn't get any coffee from it.

Did you notice any coffee? The one brewed by The Bruery had coffee mentioned on the label, but the Three Floyd's version doesn't. I'm sure it is great either way, but I feel like it would be better with coffee.

Unless my taste buds are horrible I didn't get any coffee.

Thanks! I kind of figured there wasn't since it was left off the label, but I still can't wait to crack mine open!

I asked one of the guys behind the counter if there was any coffee in it and was told there isn't.

I added some cold brew coffee to mine yesterday and it was phenomenal.
It was phenomenal by itself too -- I just wanted to see what would happen.

Anyone feel like picking me up a bottle? I'll send the cash and a couple bottles in return.
