Bought some in the northern burbs today. Nice to get it fresh. Had it last year after the best by date, still tasty though

I'm assuming the Doppelrock replaced the Glockenspiel as their Spring time seasonal? I thought the Doppelrock was good, but I enjoyed the Glockenspiel a little more as I bought more of it than the Doppelrock, which so far this year I haven't had the urge to buy it. Sounds as though I'm not alone in the NE Ohio market as obviously the stuff isn't moving off the shelves to make way for the Monster. The Monster was great on tap last Friday as was the Wright Pils which I would like to see released as their summer seasonal, great beer for hot weather with just the right amount of body. Would make a great 12 pack after a springtime filled with Conway's Irish Ale...right into Wright Pils. It is a bit disheartening that the distribution OUTSIDE of the area has the stuff before the home base, WTF?!

You'll be happy to know Wright Pils is supposed to be bottled for summer soon

Glockenspiel was only bottled in 2009. They'll still have it on-tap once in awhile though. It's a really good Weizenbock.. I was surprised they didn't bottle it again.. I don't think it flew off the shelves or was their biggest seller, but it was well received.

I have to say I've always found their seasonal stuff to be top notch and actually wish most were regulars/year round like Glock, Blackout, Anniversary Ale, and Imperial Dortmunder just to name a few.

Wright Pils will be a summer seasonal released approximately the 2nd week of June.
Best way to find some Monster near you is the GLBC beer finder on their website. Put in your zip code, and select the beer you want to find. Gives you the phone number for all the accounts, and you can call to see what they have left on the shelf before you drive.

I don't know why, but I think Doppelrock is the WORST GLBC beer I've had. Blah!

This beer is listed in the Giant Eagle ad this week. They are going to have a bunch of unhappy drinkers if it doesn't show up now.

Growler fills for $10.99 at Heinens and Whole Foods (check websites for locations).
4-packs for $9.99 all around the Clev and ring burbs.
    Get it while you can!
