Phew...that was a looong weekend. Finally got back to Raleigh at about 2am last night. I do NOT want to be working right now...

I did have a chance to go to Keg...there were some solid bottles hiding on the wall, but overall nothing too crazy. Really good selection for New Albany, IN I would imagine.

Really quiet today.

Looking forward to this weekend, getaway to a cabin in the woods. I should have some NEBCO via @CTJman
to bring with me. Going to tour the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville while we're up there.

This weekend should be a blast. My band is recording our first EP, a 5 song album. Going to have to bring a lot of low ABV beer to drink, sounds like a good time to sample all the new session IPAs out there. And a couple growlers of homebrewed berliner!

 

Heading up Thursday after work, it'll still be fine. With a Surly tasting tomorrow night and bar night Wednesday, probably wont have a chance to hit it before Thursday anyway.

I wanna go to that Surly tasting, but after doing Tired Hands and Capone's for Duck Duck Gooze yesterday, I doubt pretty highly that I'll be able to get over there.

Besides if no one wants my Only Void, St Twoer or Geodesic growlers, I'm going to have LOTS to drink at home anyway...

I ran some scenarios last week, I don't think I have a chance of winning the overall mileage BIF within a BIF within a box.

 

Absolutely, once it is mixed and mastered and we have copies I will probably include it in lots of beer trade boxes!

Loud? Haha, we like to consider ourselves old school punk. Tons of Misfits influence, but we love all kinds of punk from pop to hardcore and everything in between. We honestly describe ourselves and fast and hard. This album has a pretty good range of what we do, with one song getting up to 400 bpm!!! We also like to take 90's pop songs and turn them into punk songs, The Way by Fastball is the one we chose to go on the record.

I actually went to the studio yesterday and laid down scratch bass and vocal tracks to make it easier for drums to record this weekend. First time I've recorded to click track, it was a challenge but we got it down pretty quickly.

 

For some unknown reason, I thought I had already done this. I dropped the ball big time. I'll get the update out this afternoon.
