Crooked Stave 2014 Cellar Reserve

Guessing they would still have some. If not you might be able to find them in stores.

Sounds like the disappointing L'Brett trend continues... How have they continued to fuck up this beer since batch 1?

It wasn't listed on the board as Persica and didn't taste like the bottles I've opened.

 

How did the l'brett grand cru sale out and yet the fruited origins still haven't?

 

The L'Brett Grand Cru was 3 rounds of allocations and a bigger allocation

 

I wonder if they decided to just pull it. It was still up there when I ordered my allocations on Monday night.

 

Have they had the L'Brett Grand Cru on tap?

 

I thought Brett d'Blackberry was one of the best beers I had last year. Not sure I see a "disappointing trend."

Yes, and I think it is sublime.

 

It's a fantastic beer. I think that set the bar for me as far as Crooked Stave releases are concerned. Maybe unfair, I don't know. I don't think any of the L'Brett d'Or releases since then have come close.

 

For me it's Batch 1. Nothing has come close since. And that first batch L'Brett was good.

 

I've heard it is (or was, at one point) really good. I've never had it, so L'Brett b1 is my bar. I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I really hope that first year wasn't a fluke for Chad & Co.

 

This got me thinking. And I was hoping maybe you (or anyone else in this thread) might have some insight:
