Is that for the 444th BIF or a trade or just a random attack?

Yeah I agree, it does take a significant amount of resources to pull off an event where your establishment has double or more the number of people that you're used to, but when it's a very specific thing they're there for, it's just a matter of acquiring those resources (typically additional staff) and allocating them appropriately

    Happy to help.

edit: looks like you're already fine, this is what happens when you reply before catching up fully.... that said, I'm still happy to help if you have any more you want to send out. And I'm definitely curious to see how this works out, I have a bottle capper myself and I think the Tired Hands growlers would fit a cap on them, would be so nice to be able to do that.

Use your phone, that's what i do  That said, I really like when the poster of the pron includes their own captions, for one thing I don't always recognize every bottle/can't read the label, but also I like reading things like "perma-want" or "have one in the fridge, now I can lay one down" etc

Oh but aren't the rivalries fun! Well the old school browns are our most hated rivals............I respect, but loathe the dirty bird Ravens.

And before you accuse me of being a bandwaggoner..........I saw my first Steelers game in 74....yes 1974 BEFORE they won their first (of MANY) Superbowls! 3 offices down from mine is Browns fan and we have lots of fun with each other. JF will make your year fun and interesting this year.........just need to get JG to stop tokin!:stuck_out_tongue:

Do you have them crown capped when filled, or do you cap yourself once you get home?

When filled. But my local beer shop guy trades and understands that he really has to cap them tight. They use a standard single capping tool though, so I don't think it would be any different than doing it myself, aside from the minimal loss of carb from the reopening it at home.

I've had the same issue with screw top growlers. One I sent to @Cuzco from the original BIF last year apparently leaked pretty bad. I haven't had it happen to flip tops, but I HAVE had them leak BEFORE shipping, which isn't comforting. Capping is a great idea if you have the right type of growler, which I rarely do, but I wonder if the leaking issue (which could be a result of excessive pressure) would make it prone to explosion? I always try and electric tape the shit out of them before shipping but it doesn't seem to help. I've considered popping them open once before resealing and shipping just to let them "breath" a bit and release some of the pressure, but haven't tried it. I bet if you just release the pressure and then cap immediately it wouldn't let any oxygen in. I'm curious to find out your results so please share.

Understatement of the year. Don't make the poor guy read the almost 400+ pages until he at least knows what a stereotypical BIF is. Doing so would be the equivalent of:

I don't think he'd come out of those 400 pages the same. Amiright? @Lehighace06? Amiright or amirght?

I wish I had thought of it earlier so I could have done it, but the next person who wants to get in on the madness should just lurk and get familiar with the thread, then just blindside everyone with their first post in the thread offering up beer in a LIF for something on the level of shower beer pics or bad beer reviews. That would just be epic.
