    So here's a lil beer **** for you boys tonight. My dad who went up to Michigan for business (who's not into craft beer what so ever!) Came back with these goodies for me, which I wasn't expecting , but will gladly take.

    Wait so this soccer LIF has got me thinking, how are we treating stoppage time from the first half? If there are three minutes of stoppage, does that mean the second half starts at 48 min?

    When goals are scored in stoppage time, they're marked down as during the 45+2 (or however long) minute (or 90+2 for the second half) and the second half still starts at 45 minutes. Dunno how @Jas45678 and @MMBrew want to do it. In any case, I I'll take 3rd minute for the first goal and 19th minute for the second.

    In other news, I spent the last few days off the grid on an awesome beercation and missed the last 11ish pages here, which took me close to an hour to catch up on. Hauls and highlights from Thursday-Sunday to come shortly.

    If I wasn't already looking at a good level of pending beermail between BiaB still needing to hit me and some other (smaller) boxes I'd make sure you were taken care of, but I just can't commit to getting that out right now. Definitely a possibility in the future, though.

    The clock starts at 45' for the second half regardless of stoppage time from the first half.

    Right, but I was just curious if someone guesses 46 min, does that count as 45+1 as @Steve_Oldrati explains it or is it the first minute of the second half?

    I agree Soccer's weird. Why can't it be normal like Hockey? 3 Periods. 60 Minutes. Overtime if needed. You lose a game in the Stanley cup, nobody gets killed once they return to their home town. Normal. :sunglasses:
