SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

While I fully appreciate and commend your generosity, there were only two rules to the BIF: send 4 beers; get them there by July 4th. You intend to break the first rule. The only rule that I've stressed the importance of on 4 to 5 separate occasions. I can't stop you or force you to do anything, but seriously how hard is it to just send 4 beers? We all have tons of great beers to give one another and we do it regularly, but that's not the point of this BIF. Wait for the next round of SWTFYW to ship whatever the fuck you want.

I'm not mad, I'm disappointed. Disappointed that this now potentially makes everyone else look like cheap bastards because they followed the rules. I'm sure that wasn't your intention, but some people will perceive the box of 4 beers they received this way.




I apologize if I've brought a negative vibe to the thread because that was not my intention. I'm done ranting now and have moved on. I have no beef with anyone here, including @Lehighace06 who seems like a good guy (considering... ). I know this is for fun and I'm sorry to appear bent out of shape over it.

If you knew what the sixer included, you'd give me the same look, but for the opposite reason... trust me, that sixer will cost less than most single bottles that will go out in this BIF and not one person will possibly feel cheap because of it. Lastly, I honestly think that the theme I've created with the bottles makes it worth it. (after my target has his box, i'll post my diorama, but i don't want to ruin the surprise.)

with all that said, if you guys really want me to knock it off and keep it to 4 pieces of glass with beer in them, I will. Last thing I want to do is make anyone mad (or even disappointed) over some beer.

 

Ok, so I was gone for a few days on vacation and I'm about to head to FedEx to ship my target's box, so time to accelerate the hints.

444thBIF Hint 1: My target is in a state that does not touch my state. My target will also not be getting MY locals, but will instead will mostly benefit from a trip I'm taking next weekend to my brother's wedding in VT.
444thBIF Hint 2: This ain't the first ro-day-oh for my target and I. Which is to say, we've BIF'd together before.
444thBIF Hint 3: From what I have seen in hints/hauls threads and social media, my target is both extremely generous and regularly enjoys many more .rar beers than I do.
444thBIF Hint 4: While hiking in the White Mountains of NH this weekend, I met a guy from my target's state who was section hiking the Appalachian Trail. That guy had an altimeter on his watch that was impossible for him to calibrate at home because he lives below sea level.
444thBIF Hint 5: My target is getting 92 oz of 96.75 average beer that they should post about in the hauls thread.

Honestly you can do whatever you want. I can appreciate your reasoning and I've voiced my opinion, so that's all there really is.

However I am very intrigued by this diorama now!

 

I think @Lehighace06 should learn to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. That's what Business for Dummies told me anyway.

I also think I'd rather be @Lehighace06 (one who knows to expect a box of wolf spiders and to be ready when opening said box) than @Ol_Johnny_Skippelwicky (one who presumably must wrangle sufficient wolf spiders to fill said box). In short, I would rather not see a wolf spider in any box that comes to me. Consider me undecided on @Houser's drawers.

I will say it was hard lifting over 200oz to drop off for a SWTFYWer that I(& Fedex) have made wait too long for said box.

 

Ladybugs don't have quite the shock value as Wolf Spiders.
@Ol_Johnny_Skippelwicky , keep those spider traps set out in the yard, just keep the chickens away from them.

 

Last I recall, @shrek806 said he was shipping out no later than Wednesday.

 

Don't worry guys, getting spiders is easy. I live out in the country so I just have to put the box outside for like ten minutes and then I have thousands of them. Twice as many if I use a picture of @TheBeerAlmanac pooping as bait!

 

Second half will start at 45, I don't want to add extended time to everyone's guess. So if a goal is scored at 1:30 in extended time, the winner will be is whomever is closest to 46:30. Does this make sense, I'm confused. This good with you @MMBrew?
