I was told this place is only accessible via snowmobile. I quickly debunked that rumor by mapping it out...need to hit that place up next time I'm in the White Mountains.

How's your recovery time?

From 2009, but still crazy. I need to make it there someday.

 

My wife might get suspicious if all of the sudden I wanted to vacation in the middle of nowhere, Maine. On the other hand, we are thinking about a New England jaunt this fall, a couple of days in a cabin in that area would be relaxing. I'll begin laying the groundwork. Just have to figure a way to let her think it was her idea and I'll be golden.
