The Mass Rising had some unclear dampness around it, but the cap was on tight, so I made the tough call to sacrifice it. Into my belly. After a brief chill in ice water in the freezer it made it's well carbonated, delicious, definitely not leaking way to my stomach. Whatever happened, I'm happy cause I drank it tonight

 

True story. I had to stop at work one day over a weekend. My wife was with me, she is deathly afraid of spiders. There is a vestibule between the inner and outer door. I opened the outer door and we started in when I saw a HUGE spider on the floor. I told her to step back, I'd kick it outside with my foot. As she took a step back and I went to shoo the spider, it literally exploded with little baby spiders that were all over it's back. My wife made it from the front step to the roof of my car, a distance of over 20 feet, in one leap, propelled mostly by a high pitched scream that dogs in 4 counties could hear.
That was about 2 years ago, she has yet to return to the scene of the crime. I had to act brave at the time, but it scared the crap out of me, too.

 

I think I remember my dog going nuts one day about 2 years ago, at the time it was completely inexplicable... it all makes sense now.

If any of you local guys are around tomorrow I'm going to Tired Hands from 4 till about 7, would be cool to meet up and grab a pint.

so keith from ohio was part of another bif i was in, and was never sent a box, so a number of people destroyed his porch, with more to come, im sure . he has posted in this thread, moreso as of recently, but is not an og.

anyway, he saw the ninja boxes @Brewzma sent out, and wanted to show his appreciation of this by ninjaing him on his own.

 

Did @IPAFan521 ever make it back from Europe? Haven't heard anything and there haven't been any Untappd checkins in over a week.

Okay, time for a little morning pRon, for those who like to get their rocks off early. I got word the box was coming as I was wrapping up my last teacherly tasks of the year. What could be better?

This box was sent by 444 BIF Captain @Ol_Johnny_Skippelwicky himself, I'm guessing b/c he knew I was taking off before the 4th and wanted to ensure a glorious outcome for this guy. It's a pretty big box for just 4 beers, methinks.



The box arrived... erm... as my wife and I were... ahhh... "celebrating"... the start of summer *cough cough*. Heard the knock on the door and decided to continue with said celebration before checking out the box. Good move!
