As long as WV sees this before our tap takeover which we're doing (at my establishment anyway) aug 1. Cant imagine we'll get the kegs before the 12 packs but ya never know.

Big display at Whole Foods in Cupertino. $24.99 per box, with the commemorative DIPA bombers for $5.99. As always, thanks to Ken for keeping his products reasonably priced.

Hmm... Hadn't seen it in SoCal, but maybe they're waiting a little bit on it due to the event being here? Either way, will be on the lookout.

Hit San Jose. The only bummer is that the THREE Floyd's pale ale wad bottled on May 15. Which is the oldest beer is the mix.

Still damn good. I've only had a few of them. I read somewhere somebody saying that none of the beers were outstanding. My first sip proved that guy wrong. The Chico King is awesome

Sounds like a well-thought-out and well-designed distribution. Looking forward to getting our packs in Wisco!

I went through the twelve over the past few days. I want to agree with that other guy. None were crap. But none were outstanding. They were at that 'par for the course' level the majority of craft beer is at.. Think 78-88 BA score. All very forgettable IMHO.. The few reviews on BA seem about right. My guess is that none hit above a BA 88.

My bottles were packaged early June with a few late May. So I don't know if that had any factor. Or the fact you hear these great breweries, and the finished product isn't as WOW worthy as you had envisioned.

IMHO, not worth $2/bottle that my shop was selling them at ($24 for 12). $16-$20 seems more feasible.

Costco is probably a great place to find this because they wont break up the 12-packs. Many shops are threatening to do so...

I've been into a bunch of shops who don't realize it's actually 12 different beers this time, not the usual 3x4 pack. So they might figure it out when they get the set?

It sounds like it's being distributed in good numbers, I'm much more hopeful about getting a full set now than I was when it was announced.

Was there an over-arching SN flavor to each beer? I'm theorizing that in order ensure freshness & quality, SN & each brewery probably chose "safe" recipes, even for some of the more interested styles. Hence, we're not going to get an out of this world sour because they just take too long and are too inconsistent over large batches. Same thing with really hoppy IPAs or IIPAs- it's too hard to ship them fresh and guarantee them fresh throughout the summer-long celebration.

So, relatively safe styles and recipes that will tend to be more steadfast than stupefying are probably what we should expect.

Beers like New Glarus Scream, RR PtE (or Redemption even) are incredibly difficult and consuming for a brewery to make, especially when water and equipment need to be adjusted because you're at somebody else's shop. I'll settle for 80-88 on each beer, if that's what it ends up being.
