Pentagram at Stub & Herb's. $5 for a pint during happy hour. Shots fired.

That's insane. This sounds like some kind of mistake. Was the bartender pouring pints rather than 10 oz snifters or something? I'm hoping this isn't a mistake

It's $6/pint not during happy hour. That's just how they roll and is why they're one of my favorite spots. Sure it can be a little hectic during gamedays and some evenings but they have a great taplist and insane deals. They were the ones who had $3 pints of BA Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout last year. Now that's a deal!

Tapping into some Breckenridge Whiskey Barrel Aged G'Knight, Ten Fidy, Gubna, Dale's, Vienna Lager and Smidy #2 at JL Beers in NE tonight. The G'Knight blows my mind. It's a must try.

Rosie's Old Ale is still pouring at Barley Johns. Had it yesterday for the first time. That is one damn fine beer. They also had a wheatwine on as well.

Yo, just hooked up another Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Extra, a Ballast Point Victory at Sea and Sea Monster plus a keg of Surly Smoke. A lot of dark beers, I know, but I also have 14 beers in the "Hoppy" category... Never said I ran a balanced beer list (except that one time...)

Also, tonight when my Double Trouble fries I'm hooking up a Deschutes BBXXIV, and When the Lenny's RIPA runs out I'm tapping a He'Brew Jewbelation Sweet 16.

    Cheers!

Please post when that Sweet 16 goes on. I think that was a totally under appreciated release; written off by too many as a simple malt bomb. I thought that there was a lot of complexity to it that had a lot of potential for aging.

Could not agree more... Only place I've ever seen with this guy on tap was Lone Oak Grill last year...

Hmm...the link lists a Mercurial Belgian Style Ale and when I look that up on this site, it only seems to be about 6 weeks old. At 4.8%, it sounds like an advance look at the Mercury release from the Planets series. Or maybe a base beer for what might end up being a spiced or aged version of this. The name and stye seem to be too similar to just be coincidence.
