    No way that date is correct. Those caps start to "bubble up" after a year. Caps develope bubble on the inside. Even with their Fifteen and Sixteen, which were dark. Not sure if it's quality of their beer or their caps.

    That's how I roll. Tending to the wings on the smoker and beer on the deck. Well played. Looks like a great combo you got going on there

    Just finished off this nice, delicious 7 day old bottle of Lunch. Now off to a basketball court to work off this beer. HF Abner awaits my return.

    Little guy is feeling a little under the weather. Cleaning up and prepping kegs for my next two batches... Stout season is nearing and I'm going to get a head-start!

    Bought the Black Patent, Roasted Barley, 120°L, flaked oats, chocolate malt, and 30 lbs of pale malt (from my 50# bag) along with Cocoa Nibs, Bakers chocolate, and Vanilla Beans. Brewing 10 gallons of a Breakfast Stout (Double Chocolate, Oatmeal, and Coffee) on Saturday with 4 oz of freshly roasted coffee from a friend, splitting into two 5 gallon fermenters with Safale US-05 (starters). One will be the base breakfast stout, the other will be aged for 30-60 days on 2 Vanilla bean, 1/2 Cinnamon Stick, Cayenne, more cocoa Nibs, bakers chocolate, and 2.5 oz more coffee. I want this beer now!

    Keg cleaning beer, mandatory :slight_smile: This is another fine brew brought back by my drinking buddy! Cheers!

    I swear, it's a wonder my liver made it out of the weekend alive. Yesterday another friend came over who's new to craft beer and he's been trying more and more new things every time and liking them, especially the barrel aged stuff; and away we went ...again... :rolling_eyes: Finished the Penguin from Saturday night (with help from my neighbor);

    [IMG]
    Then (this beer never fails to deliver, love this stuff),

    And still made it to work with no hangover!! :grimacing: Now? One of Bill & Ron's early homebrew recipes, smells like a devil, tastes like a devil, I swear this is their early homebrew recipe for Hop Devil.

    (I apologize for the Sunday backlog, yesterday wasn't conducive to posting 'and didn't want to be a bad host.)

    "Spirit distilled from grain" Does that mean it's not a beer?

    Wasn't going to drink today...then the tow truck guy showed up with my old car a day early so that means time to clean it out to sell. This calls for a 4 day old head hunter. It's so easy to want to go after the big name IPAs but I sometimes take this for granted considering its basically in my back yard. What a great ipa
