Anyone up for a mini-BIF? If 10 people like this, indicating they want to attempt to play, I will run my normal Sherlock Holmes mini-BIF. It works like this: First one to guess and the correct target-sender pairs based on all the hints given, will get a box from me. This will be open until the 5th haul is posted, incase some of our over achievers ship way early. BM me your guesses, don't post in the tread.

That means we need TARGETS and HINTS.

I wish I had the inclination to do this, but with so many people it'd drive me bananas.

This^^. I already have enough grey hair and I don't need to be pulling any more of it out.

    Dear Lehighace06's sender,

After you ship that box of Bramble, Cherry Rye, Vanilla, Proprietor's, and Rare...go ahead and send me his address so I can help him out with those.

    Always and forever,
    Rusty xoxo

I'll send it to you myself if you bring some Atrial and Yellow Rose to help us get from one stout to the next.

You get that box and I'll make it happen.

Glad to see someone outside of Texas mention Yellow Rose...so damned good!! Dallas was a Lone Pint deadzone for a long time, but I've seen a few kegs of other stuff show up recently. Hopefully the Yellow Rose isn't far behind

I know I was the last to join but I figured we would have had targets by now!!!!

Hint #2 - I am going to destroy your wants!

Yeah man, I was introduced to it on my trip to Houston, I had to bring home a growler full. Unfortunately it lost a little carb and the last 10 oz out of the growler included 3 oz of sediment, I guess I killed the keg... what I had in HOU was amazing, and even a little light on carb it was still damn good. You should also bring some Live Oak Hefe, I'm told (and have no reason to disagree) that it's the best in the country.

Speaking of - do you Texans get Weihenstephaner?

Had the pleasure of drinking Yellow Rose when I visited in-laws in TX last Jan and absolutely loved it!

I'm not a big hefe fan, but when I occasionally want one, Live Oak is the go-to. 2nd highest rated hefe on BA (behind Weihenstephaner, which we also get).

Thanks for confirming. I figured you'd get it, no rarity there, but I would've put it in a box I'm sending if not.

You should also be asking for Allagash White and Real Ale White, they're Belgian Wits not German Hefs, but are both awesome wheat beers. And while we're at it, FFF Gumballhead is a fantastic beer made with wheat, though frankly it's much more driven by the Amarillo hops than the wheat.
