Thanks for the tip! Just went on tap at one of my favorite local spots. I'll have to check it out. Cheers!

I haven't found one wheatwine that I like. They are always way too boozy.

    Have you tried La Folie?

    Belgian Tripels.

I've tried La Fin Du Monde, Westmalle, Tripel Karmeliet, St. Bernardus, Allagash and countless other American brewer's versions and none of them agree with my stomach. I can do quads and Belgian stouts no problem though.

I appreciate this and all the subsequent candid comments about sours. I too have tried to enjoy them but can't get past the feeling that someone poured vinegar in a previously good beer. I have met a lot of people that consider this an unsophisticated palate....I guess I should just claim that as well.

Not a fan of Belgian Dark Ales (or stouts/Imperial Stouts brewed with Belgian yeast). I'll occasionally drink a Terrible.

Also not a huge fan of most BIPA's. Especially Imperial Black IPAS, usually way to much roast, basically a stout that is over-hopped. Hop In The Dark and Beezlebub (technically an Imp Stout) are two huge exceptions.

Fruit beers, particularly raedlers and others that are essentially beer cocktails rather than actual beers. If I wanted to drink a cooler, I'd drink a cooler.

If your problem is a vinegar taste then it sounds like you are drinking the wrong sours. I can't stand the taste of acetic acid either so I avoid Flanders Reds like the plague, but I love lambic. Cheers!

I can't stomach sours, tripels, malt liquor, and especially dopplebocks. Troegenator made me physically ill.

I'll pass on most anything barrel-aged. The least hint of bourbon (etc.) in my beer puts me off.
