so you think all their barrel-aged beer should taste and smell the same?

Who says that??? It seems pretty mean to say regardless of who the "kids" are!

Wasn't that a line from the movie "The Dewey Cox Story"?

I had helldorado at a beer event in the suburbs of Chicago, it was awesome.

No but I was just noting that these distinctness that sets FW barrel aged beers apart from others were lacking in DDBA.

Hey Y'all. This is a BEER **** site. DP means "drain pour" here folks.

    But that was funny.

For sure. I wasnt judging the beer itself, simply saying I understand why it got pulled.

Maybe but it's not all mine. I will replace the photo with a single bottle if it will make you feel better.

Thanks for the advice. I stumbled across a bottle last week. I'll let it get a little time on it before I enjoy it.

I got pretty lucky on this release - not only did my favorite shop get a huge shipment with no bottle limit, but the manager pulled out some '12 and '13 as well to sell in a vertical. Yesssssssssssss

I liked Helldorado too...not on the same level at Parabola or Sucaba though I don't think...probably not on par with Stickee Monkey either...but still very good.

Grabbed one yesterday. Will be on the lookout for a few more. Might be my favorite FW beer.

Don't get too attached.. but it's highly underrated in their Proprietor's Vintage Series. Grab 'em while you can.

There's a Costco in the SF bay area selling it for $11.99 a bottle. Pretty damn good price.
