Great! Another $10.99 experimental beer. I love Pipeworks but I've been done paying for these bombers for a while now.

I'll gladly pay for it on, if I were able to go into the city more.. Should just deliver the $10.99 bombers directly to my house

    @Pipeworks

Question here, I know you said after the new bottling system went into affect the bombers would finally really be cellar worthy.

The recent Hyper Dog and Passiont Fruit have had signs of overflow with brown stains on the bottle art. Does that just mean the filler instrument isn't properly working? Should I be cellaring these bottles yet or are there still some kinks to work out?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

Not sure if this answers ur question, but I recently had an 8 month old coffee abduction (non cellared) and it was still tasting pretty awesome.

That's good to know. I've got a lot of the fruited abductions cellared away. Just remember they got that new contraption and thought it was going to eliminate the overflows and sticky bottles (which I thought was originally caused by human error)

Not bitching, just curious how their new toy is coming along and if it means anything to the customer or not.

So as I read this, it made me think: If someone has bought and tried every single Pipeworks release (~480 batches), they would have roughly spent $5000 dollars on Pipeworks beer alone since they've opened. I doubt anyone's done this, but that's mind-boggling to me.

I would be close as a silent background follower, but I am sure a few of these guys have done it!

You know, the more I think about it, you're probably right. There are a few people that have probably bought every release.

A lot of batches are doubles/triples etc. I think commercially pipeworks has released a little over 100 beers.

Agreed but I believe he was referring to every batch made. Probably phrased it wrong.

Quite a few actually. I've only had about 74. Really dying to try BA Last Kiss. My binnys never got any unfortunately.

I'm so glad to read this. I recently got a Passion Abduction and it too was sticky with label stains. I thought the bottle leaked and was panicked about the quality, but, the packaging I got it in had no signs of leaking. This explanation of them having overflow problems makes sense and really calms my fears. Cheers!

    August 16, 2014 Update

Distribution of all this good stuff starts 8/18

    NEW! Harbinger of Doom
This perplexingly refreshing Belgian wit beer brewed with elderberries and lemon is tart and fruity, with subtle herbaceous notes from earthy Hallertauer Tradition hops. Some might call it a coincidence that this Harbinger of Doom appeared in conjunction with reports of alien abductions, monsters lurking around dark corners, and epic battles between supernatural forces emerging from the ether - but you know better. Harbinger of Doom is a messenger from the unknown. The message is this: normality is DOOMED! DOOMED! DOOOOOOMED!
    $8.99, 22 oz, 8.5% ABV

    Bunny and the Bird
Fresh from an overseas adventure, the delightfully intrepid duo, Bunny and Bird, have teamed up to brew a splendidly hoppy English IPA with a crisp and clean english ale yeast. The brew is packed with an intriguing combination of juicy, tropical Australian Galaxy hops, and grassy, vinous German Hallertau Blanc. It's a positively tip-top combination that The Bunny and The Bird hope you will enjoy. Cheerio!
    $9.99, 22oz, 9% ABV

    Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn
This epic battle between the The Unicorn and the Ninjas will not stop. In fact, this week, the battle is perhaps more epic than ever!! The Unicorn snuck up on the Ninjas with scoops and scoops of grapefruit-y Simcoe hops to throw into the hop combination. This batch of our DIPA is tasting delicious. As always, drink early, drink often.
    $9.99, 22oz, 9% AB

    On the Brewing Horizon:

Marilime Law - IPA brewed with lime juice and lime zest
Raspberry Truffle Abduction - An Imperial Stout brewed with cacao nibs, vanilla, and raspberries.
