Regarding the comments on the Passion Abduction, I agree that I thought the nose was a little off. It was not what I expected and the taste was really dominated by the passion fruit. Unlike the raspberry or cherry, I just didn't feel like the passion fruit blended too well with the rest of the ingredients. I waited a while until the beer really warmed up before it started to mellow out and that harsh tart flavor subsided.

As for the BA trio that was released, some suburban Binnys did get these in, 1 bottle limits on each and they were gone in hours. Thank you for twitter notifications and not working that day. Really can't wait for their next BA beer to hit stores...

 

I feel like Just Drink it Dummy hasn't been mentioned much but man, I'm in love with it. Pipeworks, if you ever start canning this I will weep with a profound joy and buy financially irresponsible amounts of it.

 

I actually thought that Jones was the worst of the 3, I mean it was good but middle of the road considering there are a lot of amazing ba stouts out there. Muerderous and Last Kiss on the other hand blew me away. By far the best BA wee heavy i've ever had, and murderous was top tier BA barleywine. Hopefully they can make more of all very soon.

 

Hmm. I'll make sure to whine about not getting any and actually pick some up next time around.
