Purchased the final trio of Beavertown cans today (Gamma Ray, Smog Rocket, Quelle Saison) as well as a Wild Beer Shnoodlepip just because it's so brilliant.

    got caught behind at work
so spent the twenty five minutes wait in port street
all price boards blank for repainting
    didn't question for a second
my thoughts with CwrwAmByth ordered pint of Tiny Rebel's XPLA undoubtedly good thirst quenching stuff but as I was just yesterday defending seemingly high beer prices in 'craft' oriented outlets the £4 pint bit a little.
Downed pint looked at time fifteen minutes till bus.
Enquired about Black Jack Beers Full House DIPA but at £4 for a half from a brewery I could go out and spit on the 7% brew didn't appeal lol.

Heading to bus stop l, stuck head in spoons
grabbed half of Green Flash's Citra Session IPA
    for one four zero
now on bus recounting this tale.

P.S. I do realise I have turned into grandpa Simpson

Is that Port Street in Liverpool EmperorBevis?

Never been in there as I usually go to The Ship and Mitre or Inn Beer Emporium when I'm down in Liverpool.

That Green Flash is coming soon in our 'Spoons along with every other interesting beer while Ruddles and Abbots mock me with their availability and undesirability.

    Tower brewery Salt's Burton Ale

The bottle was 99p from Aldi

I've said it before but I'll say it again
Cheap & nasty beer is cheap & nasty
    well more flavourless.
Took a sip, not one bit of flavour
downed half a pint hardly noticed it or tasted it
listening to Refuse-Resist by Sepultura & to quote them
    'What is this shit?'

    Troubadour Westkust
an unusual but very enjoyable dark beer that seems to give a different taste aspect with each mouthful

Day before pay day so this one bottle was all I could afford
but I work Sat-Wednesday so no beer tonight just would be ultra sucky
managed to scrape together money for one bottle of Cheshire Brewhouse's A Little Lupy Simcoe

A very lemony & honey start that becomes bitter then increasingly bitter
    I like, I like a lot.
(And I'm not in anyway influenced by being friends with the proprietor lol)

Paid a visit to Trembling Madness earlier - there are even more stuffed animals on the wall now....

Had a pint of Alchemy's Citra Blast followed by a half of Great Heck Simcoe and a half of Black Jack's Black Maria. Not too shabby.

Currently back home sipping on a Partisan Grisette Lemongrass.

Smuttynose Bouncy House IPA (meh), Sam Adams on Draught and a couple of Bengali Tigers last night. Went down a treat apart from the Bouncy Stuff... not bad but not a lot of flavour. Maybe it was off.

I like the look of that, not seen it locally.

Got 8 Tesco Finest Traditional Porter for later when Mrs. Kozel and myself return from a wee trip to our local 'Spoons to see what this weeks specials are.

Yeah I saw them on offer for a quid a piece when doing a online shop but I had just spent my beer pocket money
also grabbed a swift half at 'spoons
    well two halves
    of the same beer
    in a pint glass,
Loddon's Bamboozle, nice pint of cask, nice balance of malt & hops.

It's channel Five so here's my prediction
    **Narrator**
'Ever since Brewdog brought gobshitting to the British beer industry 'Craft Beer' drinkers around the country have been thirsting for foreign beer styles from America, Belgium & the Isle of Man.
Marston's has been working together with Tescos to bring these style to the masses'
**Presenter** 'I'm no beer expert but I do sometimes take a break from out of date cans of Skol
& treat myself to a pint of Stella, is that the type of beer we are talking about?'

I had a pint of Adnams Broadside today and then later a bottle of Marston's Strong Pale Ale. All very solid and worthwhile drinking.
