any kiddos pick up their BA murderous? And I hate being that guy but a huge boozy burn hurts my weak lil system, does anyone know if its still hot or is it good to go?

from my experience, the barrel aged beers the guys have put out are VERY bourbon forward. Id say they are great cellar candidates if you are have particularly acute taste towards beers of that nature. That being said, the barrel character on the latest Jones Dog was un freaking believable and i couldn't argure with someone who wanted to drink it right now to get the most out of that flavor.

Batch numbers will probably stay on stuff in bombers (maybe... haven't really thought about it actually) and we'll of course be doing date encoding on the cans. We haven't picked out our encoder yet (and might not be ready to go with the first month or so of canning) but I've worked with a few and know the pitfalls of the different setups... so we'll try to avoid those to keep it legible.

We can also move the encoder to the bottles to since it'll be modular... but might not have good results.... we don't know yet.

Why is it that batch numbers are used instead of bottle dates? I never understood that....

RIP Astro Van. She led a good life, hauling beer to far flung burbs and fighting the daily grind of city traffic. Every time I crush an empty PW can in the future, I will think of the Astro Van meeting the great Car Crusher in the Sky...

Just noticed this round of BA murderous is in bombers. I see 17.99, is that right? Hmm kinda wished they did 12 oz bottles again (and kept 8.49 per ).

No, not that. Just prefer 12 oz serving of the BA offerings is all.

NO... it's not. I was just about to post for you guys here...

It should be $14.99 for the 22 which is $.68 per ounce, whereas $8.49 was $.70 per ounce.

The decision was made to put it in 22's for now because the Meheen should guarantee better shelf life compared to us hand counter pressure filling 12's.

We'll go to 375's next year when (if) we can afford a dedicated Meheen to fill 375's. The machines are built only to fill one bottle size/type.

Please let me know what prices you guys are seeing and we'll adjust distribution accordingly.

Great to hear, thanks for the quick response.

Saw the 17.99 on beermenus for Fischman. Ardmore just added for the 14.99

    Posted to the book today:

Today we're brewing an imperial cream ale inspired by a certain square shaped generic brand cinnamon & sugar breakfast cereal. There are currently swirls of cinnamon and brown sugar in every PW brew kettle! Cereal, it's not just for breakfast anymore...

I love cinnamon toast crunch enough to eat it as an adult, but I'm a little scared of how it will taste in a beer. I'm excited to see how it goes

$14.99 is pretty fair considering usual offerings for barrel aged bombers run around $16+ avg.

Have u guys ever considered 500ml bottles for barrel aged beers? Its big enough where u could share and its small enough to drink by urself. Dont see a lot of breweries pushing these around.

And i love cinnamon toast crunch and sweet beers so im kind of excited about that imperial cream ale. Just please dont make it cloyingly sweet like southern tier's creme brulee.

I love that 16 oz(ish) size, but I find its also always the most unreasonably priced.
