Stout BIF Round III Hints & Hauls

Nope... None of that. Party at 6 so I took a half day from work because I am the cook if the family and needed to finish the pork BBQ, guacamole, buffalo chicken dip plus other stuff. I'm on fire this afternoon! Plus the wife is a viewing with a good friend if hers.

So the Pron will have to wait! And I hopefully won't drink it all tonight!

I should have known. A slick move by Cuzco, getting me as his target here, and then making me his target in our Fantasy Pre-Season BIF to make his life easier by sending two BIF hauls rolled into one. Well done, sir. And you threw me off with your hint about beer ingredients, which is why I crossed you off my list.

Abraxas - want, and I can A-B this vs. the cake I have in the cellar
Mean Old Tom - great beer, I like this one



NEBCO BA Stout - Looks like this is a recent release? Surprised I hadn't heard about it.

Evil Twin Imperial Donut Break - same.
Imperial Stout Trouper - love this one.
Big Gruesome - I wish I had saved my PB&J Framinghammer to compare it to.
Two Roads Igor's Dream - looks good, can't wait to try it!

KBS - Is this 2014? I didn't have time to chase trucks this year and ended up missing it entirely, so it's much appreciated. If it's not '14, I'll just have to try and choke it down, y'know?

Overall - killer box. Thanks, Nate! I'm looking forward to trying a bunch of new beers and wants and revisiting a couple favorites I can't get around here.

 

Awesome haul man. Don't be too sad about the Big Gruesome thing, Big is the Chocolate/Peanut Butter; Little Gruesome is the PB&J.

You work the same shift and live one town over. How is it we're not cracking beers at 8:00am 'after work'? We need to get on this.

 

Agreed haha, I go to nursing school in Tinley Park and all these girls thought I was an alcoholic for the entire first semester because I went down to tribes at 10am during my hour break for a beer and food when they were serving breakfast.

I apologize if I messed something up, but I looked it up and saw 2011 PVW. My mistake and an honest one, but it doesn't take away from my happiness with the box at all! I stick by my guns........awesome box and phenomenal sender!!!

 

I was so fukin ecstatic to hear my step dads voice today telling me I got a "package" in! BTW he's pretty upset with me cuz this "package" caused him to re aggravate his hernia.. (have to deliver "packages" to the moms house, if the wife had any idea on the amount of "packages" I received she would divorce. However, that might not be all that bad, I think @JavaNoire is going to be the next lucky lady. Alright, enough with the bullshit, time to tear open this box. Pron to follow, tonight or tom. I hope you like it! The KBS is 2012 I believe. It should be marked on the bottle if I'm not mistaken. Sorry I couldn't hit many wants but tried to send you some great local(ish) stouts...
