So I hate to pop an old thread but I am hunting for something specific within the beer shipping ideal. My current styrofoam/cardboard boxes I use for transport on planes are starting to die and I am looking for replacements. I hate the idea of buying these guys for 15-20 bucks (including shipping) empty when I can in theory have it at least partially included in the shipping cost of buying 12 bottles of beer I want. Looking at these sites I know LetsPour and Halftime offer free shipping (shipping pretty much included in beer cost) but what type of packaging do they utilize? Will I be able to reuse them safely for another 10 shipments or so? Any other places people recommend to buy from which include the higher quality shipping units? Thanks

Just google styro shipped and you'll get hits, reasonable too . You can probably lh go to a wine distributor if one is close and buy from them, done this,

Hmmmmm....I am of the mindset that I need to support my "local" brewer or brewers (but maybe that is just me)

Lets pour uses molded cardboard shippers - 3 22oz bottles per tier - rather than Styrofoam.
They fit tight to the boxes they use and are great for trades. They ship across the country without much trouble.

I'm of a similar mindset, and trying to get better, but I also believe in spreading the love and sharing amazing local beers that others may not have access to. Win/win for all!

Any online stores that sell Three Floyds? I realize I could just trade with someone but I don't think I have access to anything they cannot get themselves unfortunately.

The Beer Temple out of Chicago carries a limited amount of Three Floyds. If they have what you want though...

    Not gonna find that online.

If anything, maybe Alpha King and Robert the Bruce. Zombie Dust on a uber rare occasion.

What are some online beer stores with a big selection, reasonable shipping, and that ship to Ohio? My area is awful for craft beer. I usually have to drive to Pittsburgh and Columbus to find what I like.

The post you quoted was from a loooooooooooooooooong time ago. They were in business at the time, but yes, have long since been done for.
