Yea, Brown and Stirred was just for FwB but I am assuming that some people that had it held for them at locations never picked them up. This would probably mean that it hit the shelf in some stores...

 

I see Mosaic is back in the PWs brewery...is SG on the horizon?

 

A friend of mine is heading to Chicago next week and said he will bring me back some beer. What PW beers are easy to come by? I want to make it as simple as possible for him so if I can tell him exactly what to look for it would make things easier. I figure Daisy Cutter is simple but not sure on the Pipeworks end what to have him get.

 

...can't go wrong with really any of the Ninjas or Abductions, probably the easiest thing for your buddy to remember...also depends on where he is going to be coming through as your typical corner liquor store might not carry PDubs, but the bigger stores tend to sell out quicker...

 

He said there is a Binnys not to far from where he is staying so I'm assuming that's where he will go. The Ninjas and Abductions would be awesome.

 

Got 500 today in Andersonville (no more Rock Bottom though )

Binnys LP or Lakeview still have it available?

 

I'd assume so; I rely on beermenus.com to check store stock. Few places still have it according to that site, but best to call ahead to ensure it's available.

 

Very happy that I was able to grab a 500 and a Murderous today.

 

Got a 500 from Binnys in Niles today. According to my driver who picked it up, they had about a case left on the shelf.

 

No barrel aged Murderous in the north suburbs yet? Skokie Binnys and Schaeffers both nothin.... hook a man up!

 

So Mike, what's the truth on the barrels? You did tell me, with Kate as my witness, the 22oz bottles are a "very special" beer...and thanks for being so awesome with me this week.

 

I'm using "As Kate As My Witness" for swearing shit from now on.

 

That sounds like the next beer name pipeworks should use!
