At this current juncture in 2014, I will say Ballantine India Pale Ale...really impressive.

I believe this beer is new. I haven't seen it before, but it is excellent. Even a bit better than Pumking: Souther Tier Warlock (imperial pumpkin stout).

Little Sumpin' Extra! - I have bought a ton of it, it might be my favorite beer right now.

Sorry but your beer guy is kind of a douche....MBC Dinner is only available at the brewery.

Mustang Rocket Fuel, but it's draft only for now and not widely available. For releases, either Prairie's Bible Belt or Funky Gold Mosaic.

Based on how much I liked this year's Huna, I gotta believe DB Huna is it (never had it though). That I've had this year, these stand out:

    Gose gone Wild
    Scream
    Funky Gold Mosaic
    Deltrivore

At least I think all those were new this year.

Love it, but it's been around for a few years. Stock up if fresh! It was a May-August seasonal this year. Cheers!

Didn't realize Dinner was a brewery only beer. My beer guy is awesome. He probably didn't know either and perhaps the distributor gives him bad information.

Let me revise...Ballantine India Pale Ale is my favorite Year-Round (and new to the market) offering for 2014. Weyerbacher's Camelopardalis stands to be my favorite of 2014, but it was a brewery-only (and one-time) release. Although I am not certain if it officially qualifies as a Seasonal Release, but if so, then Victory's White Monkey would take care of that category for me.

I apologize, but I felt inspired to further define my 'Best Of' for 2014...

    Cheers,
    B

Man, I've had so many good ones. I guess I'll just have to go with these two:

    1) Super-hyped beer from a brewery on the other side of the country that even most locals can barely get

    2) One-off beer that's no longer available from an obscure local brewery very few people have heard of

From what I heard, you could only Dinner buy it at the brewery. Because I too have had all the rest.
