You know you might be right. I had to bug my local beer stores for Terrapin: Imperial Pumpkin Pie Porter.

I picked it up at the Beltway Total Wine in Towson. I'm heading back tomorrow for at least a 6er!

For real! Right there on Joppa and Loch Raven? I'm like 15 minutes away from there! Will be there tomorrow!

Pretty sure Beltway TW still has the SN Fall Pack too!

Sorry no picture because I can't find my phone. But I am enjoying Stone Xocoveza Mocha Stout.
The cinnamon really comes through on the aroma. The taste is mostly coffee, spice, slight vanilla, some coffee bitterness.

I waited for what seemed an eternity for this one to land. Indiana distribution sucks!

Pours thin and dark as night with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is faint coffee and not much else. Flavor is a smokey coffee flavor with a slight malted milk aftertaste. Mouthfeel is very thin for a milk stout. Drinks like a cheap iced coffee. I choked down half and did a rare drain pour of the rest. I hate pouring $ down the drain, but I couldn't consume another ounce!

I love milk stouts and coffee. I was excited when I heard about this beer as I'm usually a fan of Stones's offerings. Unfortunately this one fell short for me on all fronts. Wondering what to do with the other five? Add to chili? Stew? Target practice?

Since I choked down a half I'm going to be kind and give it a 2.5. Hope your NBS was a better experience.

Greetings fellow NBSers! I did manage a handful of new brews today, but between work shifts, drinking shifts, and participating in our local beer week, I've kinda had a full day. I did not take notes. I did have 3 pints of Victory Dirt Wolf, new to me, and I liked well enough to have 3! The fact that the Victory rep that was the top right square in Barleywood Squares was both a fellow smart-ass and a babe did not hurt even a lilbit.

I'm glad to see that my NBS homies that I sent a few brews to, seemed to enjoy them, and if @cavedave was truly wondering about what I think of the Whatcom Wheat, he should see my Untappd of it. :grimacing: For the record, it's not strictly a pure Kristallweisen, but that was the closest that the brewers came up with. There's a new hop in that beer, Hull something, that has a strong melon note, even though I didn't pick up on it.

Thanks to everyone who helps keep NBS fun and fresh. My friends Holly and Eric had a combined 40th birthday party last night (damn kidz, git off my lawn!), and my friend Steve was one of the bands that played: Yes, you should check out some of the "unofficial" Mexican videos that feature South Park characters. Cheers all.

Wow just want to thank all the contributors, this Monday morning-after, for making New Beer Sunday so informative, fun, and now finally as popular as always it should have been. 131 posts is as many as I recall seeing in this thread, though I admit I have missed a few, especially over the last year.

Next week is week 500, let's all make it one for the books in all ways. Cheers!

Beer it forward. Ask some co-workers, or a few friends to take them off your hands if they want. I did that with a few beers that were "ok" but I needed to clear fridge space. No guilty conscience of destroying money, people thank you for free beer and clean fridge space. Win, win and win situation.

It seems a lot of people feel the that way about the Vienna Lager. It would become a one of my go to beers if it gets brewed year round.

Thanks to a friend I have a can of Blazing World in my fridge. Thought I might open it next Sunday for NBS.
