I could always unlock our 11 participant, 230 (!!) post conversation; invite everybody on here, and then relock it.

Can you just imagine ... "I flew out to Washington during my lunch hour to figure out what Hoppyseb's problem is..."

And I really need to change that avatar...

 

Flew out? I figured you would ride the chopper maybe pick up some hells angels on the way for back up not like you would need it with those pythons on your arms.

I do not support you changing your icon embrace who you are.

I figured I join the festivities 'round here. It is my duty to represent the Cheeseheads since I see no one from WI has joined. Very excited to be a part of this BIF, you all seem like some good dudes.

I suppose it's my turn if all the new folks are sharing. I'm new to BIFs, so I guess a true noob. This one seemed much "kinder and gentler" than SWTFYW, and I like the concept.

I'm in MA, outside Boston along 495, right near the RI border. So I have good access to MA, RI, ME and some VT and NH brews. Lurked on BA for years, and decided to finally dive in just last spring. Been drinking craft beer since the late 80's I'd say, but only in the last 5-6 years have I paid attention to the smaller craft breweries, and interesting imports. Beervana in RI back in 2010 probably triggered that. Been trying all kinds of stuff the last year or so. Married with a tween daughter, coach her basketball team (starting in a couple weeks). Family has a house in the VT Green Mountains (Rochester), and I probably went right by the old Alchemist Pub several times (usually to Ben and Jerry's) and never went in. But I never get up there mid-week, so haven't been able to get sought after VT beers except HT a couple times.

Sent @Mikexw my details, looking forward to getting my target and sending some great New England brews. Seems like a great group.

@HuskyHawk: I was just in Boston over the weekend for a wedding (Peabody/Salem really). On the way out of Boston I made sure to stop by Trillium and try their stuff since I hadn't. Was really quite tasty! Ended up picking up a handful of bottles of Lineage Rye and Lineage Wheat.

 

That sounds impressive but 160 of those posts were Lehigh's guesses on the "Where's the beer?" LIF.

 

I've heard stories of a poor BA who didn't comply with Mikes requests and now drinks his beer out of a straw, eats out of a straw too... What have I done?!? This BIF is like Hotel California?
