Jackie O's Bottle Release 9/19 - 9/20

What were the limits? Really wanna try the saison which seems the most available of all the beers being released

 

1 Naja, 3 Batch 1000, 4 saison

 

Everyone was able to go through the line twice and it looked like they hauled away a couple cases of Naja, more of Batch 1000, and plenty of saison. The taproom had a small amount of Rum Oil, BB Maple, DA, and Paw Paw earlier this afternoon.

The Ora Negro sold out in 3 hours Friday between growlers and glasses. That was an intense beer with a lot going on. Initial taste was coconut and chocolate but after a bit you could taste the habanero and cacao and other spices. I couldn't drink much of it but it was really good. Something that would be great to have one or two bottles of.

Overall, it was a great event.

 

ISO a bottle of the saison. Really loved it on draft, but couldn't make it back down today for bottle sales.

 

Ora Negro was the beer of the weekend for me. Loved it! Awesome time as always thanks to Brad, Art, and the rest of te crew.

 

I would very much like to trade for a bottle of the saison if anyone in Columbus has one that they can spare. I was unable to get off of work today to make it down to Athens. Let me know if you can help me out!

 

Late to the party - but would love to trade for the latest JO's releases, the Black Maple, ongoing/ future releases, etc. Have hundreds of FTs!

 

Sorry for the late response, but what a great release! Thanks Art and Brad for another great time! The service was amazing, nothing better than walking in Saturday morning with Art handing out "low filled" Rum oil bottles for FREE! I can't wait for the December Anniversary party!

 

Art handing out the low fills was definitely awesome at 9am. One little detail that I noticed that made it totally killer was that he was cracking each one open with his lighter as he handed them out. That is the sign of a true craftsman.

 

Anni sour? Certainly hope so. The wife and I will be there in that case.
