    Old Rasputin on nitro. When this beer is on nitro it smoothes it out perfectly. Great on this rainy day.

    Rubicon Hopsauce DIPA. Solid drink, interesting for a DIPA as the hop bite is subtle and more prolonged vs a punch to the palate. Also, the carbonation being lower than most makes for a different mouthfeel. Overall a solid brew and a nice take on the style.

    I was supposed to leave for work today, airline ticket even bought for a grand plan that never panned out. Of course it took all day for them to figure out it wasn't going to work. Anyway, that means beer at the house for me.

    Shipyard Pumpkinhead

    I have heard some pretty good things about this beer, considering it's Shipyard. It poured a pale orange color with about a finger of light head. There was a pretty nice, spicy aroma. The taste was a very accentuated version of the aroma: a lot of spices and a strong pumpkin pie flavor. I wish the beer was higher in ABV and that it had more body. Overall, I'm not super impressed, but I'm not let down either. 3.38/5

    First beer of the week after and epic bottle share/tasting last Friday. Really nice, super malty and nicely hoppy APA.

    After all day meeting downtown, went over to Hop City and found the first Sculpin cans I've seen in Atlanta. Nearby is the best pizza in town (Antico) who has a BYO policy. Yes please...

    Generally I'm not impressed with Duclaw beers. Think they are meh. But this one is delish. I can see why it got a silver at the GABF and World Cup.
