I'm looking for a patch from any of the more established Wisconsin craft breweries, to put on a Green Bay Packers / Miller Lite jacket. The patch will cover the Miller Lite embroidery on the lapel. No, I'm not covering the Packers patch, just to beat the wise guys to the punch. My first choice would be Central Waters but the most important feature will be size. I don't care of it's round, oval, square or rectangle but it has to be a minimum of 3.5" wide x 2.25" tall. 4" x 3" would be ideal. I'm not interested in vintage macro brewery patches but I might consider a vintage Leinenkugel's patch. I've been looking for a couple of months and I have had zero success so I've been considering settling with either Bell's or Founders. Both are available on their websites and both are the perfect size. I'd like to see if I can come up with a Wisconsin brewery patch, before settling on a Michigan patch. It's looking like a long shot but can anyone help?
Not the answer you are looking for but I had a Chicago Blackhawks hat that didn't fit me. I used an exacto knife to cut out the embroidered blackhawks logo. I then glued it onto a plain hat that did fit me. You can consider going that route, although you will be shelling out a bit more money considering hats cost anywhere from $15 to $20. If you are willing to spend the extra money, I'd say search around for some brewery hats. Lakefront offers a hat with a nice big logo on it. http://www.lakefrontbrewery.com/store/product/lakefront-brewery-baseball-cap
Thanks EseLocoSS. I've considered the hat option but most hat patches are smaller than I need. Lakefront isn't really one I'm interested in but that sure is a nice big patch and it would be the kind of patch that would met my needs. I've considered covering the old Miller Lite embroidery with a larger section of fabric with any sized patch on it. That leaves me many more options but it's not the optimal solution so I thought I'd see if anyone knew of anything like I need. It's not looking good for Wisconsin brewery patches. One more time. Anyone?
