    I have a squirrel in my bathroom. No, that is not a euphemism for anything--I literally have a little furry friend in my bathroom. He apparently leapt from a tree and busted through my second-story kitchen window screen knocking just about everything on my kitchen window sill and counters onto the floor. I had some fresh mozzarella and salami on the counter, maybe he's Italian? Anyway, I took the screen off the bathroom window in hopes that Mario the death-defying squirrel would leave through it, but unfortunately he's still in there chittering away. Happy Monday, BAs!!

    I did actually call the non-emergency police number, the cops came and said because it was private property, there was nothing they could do, I'd have to call a private animal trapper. I'm guessing this is a result of "lessons learned" from previous police-squirrel encounters. In honor of this event, I had to re-listen to one of the funniest This American Life episodes ever, I bring you "Squirrel Cop." Enjoy!




    Oh, almost forgot, I'm drinking this waiting to get my bathroom back!

    I am finishing up my growler of Jacks Abby Berliner weisse cranberry. I think I am addicted to this heah beah...

    But wait a second. I am confused. It is a 3.5% ABV fruit beer and it too me two days to drink a growler....so...

    Just tried Resin for the first time yesterday.....great stuff. Next time I find some fresh cans of that on the local shelves, I will definitely be grabbing it.

    Resin is one of two beers - the other being DirtWolf - that I try to have in my fridge at all times (one or the other). I love a good, solid, reliable, drinkable DIPA that doesn't fall off a cliff after a month, and they both fit the bill, as well as being affordable and available.

    Nate, I've never heard them before, but they've got an awesome sound. Remind me a lot of Amon Amarth in one respect: despite death vocals, there's a ton of musicality and melody found in the guitar (which is layered on top of an aggressive rhythm section). Pretty cool stuff; not Cynic or Death levels of technicality and experimentation (from that one track, anyway), but enough to keep you interested. Thanks for the share.
