So one of the good things about living in the Northeast is that the LIF package @mklisz sent me arrived about 18 hours after he shipped it. And the first one I tried may be the best beer I have ever had...

It has big warnings and labels saying "keep cold" and "enjoy fresh", so I stuck it right in the fridge and opened it quickly. I am not a "freshness bigot" and usually don't mind two or three month old IPA's (with a couple of specific exceptions), but this is the freshest beer I have ever tasted.

They bottle it closer to me than to you (in Connecticut), but I don't know if they ever SELL it there.

 

So I think a box that landed today eliminated one of my potential shippers, so I'm down to 3. Of those 3, I think I can eliminate one, because after going back to to my (admittedly awfully formatted) spreadsheet (that only tracks my own stuff and nobody elses), the way one of the hints was worded seems to eliminate me (but not entirely).

SWEET! Glad you like the brews, I personally enjoy these brews to death. Not going to lie though, it hurt wrapping up the feral V. Lets just say I believe in beer Karma...Cheers Dude!

Yup I'll be there Nov 15th, 25 minute drive for me is well worth it.

Well, I can't compete with the BIF haul that @Kramerbarthomer posted, but @UcDru asked me to pick up a few things while I was out at FFF last week. So we made a little side trade and here are the awesome things that came my way

 

Damn, lucky. I've been driving all the way up from LA. Can't wait til that Venice taproom opens lol

 

Report back on how you liked the Listerman vs the Willoughby. I think they are pretty close.

Also that Oil of Aphrodite was shared by a bunch of us a few weeks ago and we found it pretty hot, if you like your stouts boozy, hit it now, we all thought it could use some age on it.

 

Thanks for the heads up on the Jackie O; I don't mind a little boozy hit in my beer so I may try this this weekend. I'm nearing 1,000 checkins on Untappd and am gonna be a nerd and celebrate in style.

I've also had the Listerman's once before and I enjoyed it but for some reason the Willoughby was better for me. It just had such a nice creamy peanut butter flavor that you can't deny. I'll have to try this Listerman's again and give it some time to warm up a bit and see if it changes my opinion any.
