I mentioned that there was an NHL team in my target's state.

 

I have 2 personal bottles left, one regular ANTEAD and one cacao, no problem if we could ever do a local bottle share with you two.

 

Are Football, Basketball, Baseball and Soccor not the 4 major sports? Or is it for US only? Is NHL more popular than Soccor here?

Yes, Hockey is one of the "4 majors" whereas soccer is not.

 

The 4 major sports include Hockey (NHL), not soccer. Sorry, but soccer just isn't there yet although it is on the right track.

I'm good now, pretty sure I have it figured out. Thanks to everyone for helping talk me through it. Just lost my train of thought for a while.

 

I guess it would be helpful if you knew I live in the Philadelphia metro area.

I knew that but thought you were sending to a small suburb (say Sugarland, rather than Houston), using your own town as the baseline.

 

ANTEAD is one of the best BA stouts I've ever had.

 

Stopped on the way home today to a local spot to check for any Abascio Cell for @Lehighace06 , unfortunately they were all out (I was there a few weeks ago and there were a number of them on the shelf, and afaik it's not a super well known shop), and ended up leaving with a bomber of lil gruesome. Drinking it now, IMO it doesn't even compare to its bigger brother... it's a lot more bland. A shame, I was really interested.

 

I tend to agree with you there, and I'm guessing it being a few months older doesn't help it. Whereas Big Gruesome is a "chocolate and peanut butter" stout, Lil Gruesome is a "peanut butter and jelly" stout. To me, Lil is like they took out the chocolate and left the peanut butter, but forgot to add jelly... I'd love it if it was fruity and jammy to go along with the peanut butter.

In a previous trade with @_RL_ that was initiated in this BIF there was a fallen soldier in the box he sent to me, a Maine Beer Company Mo. I was more than happy with the trade even though there was the one casualty. Well, @_RL_ was going to have none of that and insisted on sending a replacement. But the dude can't count. It was ONE bottle and he sent three. I think he needs to go back to school and learn how to count.

Yeah, that's kinda what I'm tasting in it -- still have the peanut butter..... but that's it. It's not *bad*, but... I think next time I'll just get big again haha

Hell yeah he is. Very generous dude over there. I love that the inability to count is not restricted to 'that other thread' ... those guys can't count for shit either.
