12 Days of Xmas Hints and Haulz

Lots of people I know shy away from big beers, especially in large format, because doming 22oz of a 10% stout on a work night is not conducive to working the next day. At my size and tolerance, it's not much of an issue for me.

I suppose this is a bit of a content hint, but I expect that the weekday boxes I send are more likely to have 12oz beers than 22oz, and/or will be lighter styles rather than heavy sippers. And for Jan 1, I think I'm going to give my target a break with a nice, light Kolsch; something easy to drink no matter how bad the hangover.

Or maybe it'll be a Bud Light Chelada, everyone likes tomato-juice-based alcohol to chase a hangover, right?

 

I intend it to be gut wrenching every night, whether it be an acid inducing sour or sit in your belly gigantic bold stout, tis the season for gluttony and overindulgence!

Hint #2 - I vacation in My Target's state every year!

 

I got one can of Boat and one of 077XX. I forgot about this but I need more of these in my life. I actually put a couple of sours away for you as I remember you getting into the style.

 

Amen to drinking big on weekdays. It's one of the benefits of being a big boy.

But drinking big on weekdays keeps me big, so is this a vicious circle. A tasty circle it is.

Yeah I'm at peace with it.

I've got about a half dozen of my target's wants. A couple of them will make a nice day's gift by themselves, a couple might be paired off or be extras. I've also got a few great ideas for thematically appropriate days' gifts. I'm looking forward to building this box more than I think any other I've done.

 

Hint#3: Picked up a want of my target today! The store only had a few and managed to snag 2.

 

I may have to mention I used to be a pastry chef and routinely bake around 1000 cookies in 10-15 different varieties each Christmas with my mom, I think my target better find a dentist.... And insulin

Also on a side note, I have all 12 days thought out, I am missing 3 beers to round out 3 different days but as of now the box sits at 408oz with a avg ba score of 92 includes 3 wants so far....I just started putting ideas together out of my cellar/homework, and thats where it ended at.

 

I'm starting to really hope I'm your target.


Speaking of targets, a note to mine: I just planned out the whole box, and while it is certainly subject to change, somehow it's got 5 wants and over 320 fucking ounces in it. Now I gotta go buy a ton of stuff, and spend 5 weeks looking at it.

I just ran the numbers, and as it stands (again, I reserve the right to change stuff around) I'm at an average rating of 4.25 and a score average of 94.5. Target, prepare thy porch. (and wish me luck tracking all this stuff down)

Well that was unexpected apparently great minds that obsess over beer think very alike. My excel spread sheet has 3 blank spots as far as days go, that need to be decided on and added in. But, I think my list is pretty solid. Here to hoping I have you as a sender!

Mine actually could be completely done unless I add in extras or swag; I very well might change some stuff around pending availability of particular bottles and if I come up with different ideas.
