I mean, some aren't made anymore, some are ridiculously hard to get. Once I had " You have rated101 beers on this list" and 3 weeks later it said I had rated 93. Now I'm at like 84! They change so often, has anyone here ever gotten over 200 at any time?

I believe it has been done multiple times by multiple members.

I agree -- I believe that it has been accomplished, but it appears to be difficult to do. This has been a "goal" of mine in 2014 and despite a lot of effort I am currently at 114/250. This list fluctuates so much that you also need to get the ones that are sitting right at the cusp. Some days they're on the list and some days they're off the list. I figure that as long as I'm trying really good beer that I'm enjoying, doesn't matter if it is #249 or #251.

Shit that's going to take forever. I just hope to get to 25 soon. Was higher, but it seems to be changing lately.

Been said many times, a more sensible, realistic and affordable effort is to drink all 250 on the Beers of Fame list. I don't even bother with the Top 250.

Wow, only 28/250 for me, which is surprising, since I get new beers every week and have rated 1,073 on this site (doesn't include some local ones that I had before it became easier to add beers on here, but those wouldn't be popular enough to make the 250 anyway).

So, that's quite a feat if you can even break 50, apparently.

In terms of having tried them, I'm well over 220, but in terms of writing formal reviews, only around 150 right now, been close to 175, but often when I try these beers I don't have my tasting journal near me or I'm not by my computer to write up a review. It's a fun list to go after, lot's of tasty beer on there, but honestly, it's just a dick waving contest really.

I'm at 55 with zero effort at trying to dent the list. I rarely look at the list, and I'm surprised at where some beers are, or aren't, on it. Really, Enjoy By at 77? Have the Monks at St.Sixtus lost their touch at making beer? For me at least, this list is proof of grade inflation and favoritism.

If you change favoritism to fickleness and then change gade inflation to novelty, then for me you get two phrases that tell me that there are lots of new beers/breweries out there, the marketplace is far from being stagnant, and I'll not have to worry about the beers I prefer going away without new ones to take their place. Otherwise I don't have much use for the top 250 list. :-)

Haven't looked at it for a while. 110 based on the current list. If I really wanted to target beers on the list, could probably get to 150 without too much pain. After that it would suck the enjoyment out of drinking beer for me.

I'll never try. IPAs don't do it for me, and a high percentage of the beers on that list are IPAs.

195/250, it is about the journey and not the destination.

I'm at 36/250 through 9 months on BA.. I'll be happy if I manage to crack half of the list considering how hard some of these bottles are to come by and the ever changing nature of the list

I've been at all 250 but I stopped reviewing about a year ago...might make another run at it in 2015. I hover around 190-200 currently.

I'm with you in that there are many on here I've had in the past, but I'm waiting to drink again and write a proper review. This takes a while and it seems that some drop off the list faster than I can find the beer, revisit and review.

At some point, I'll take a screen shot of whatever the Top 250 is that day and somehow get through that list. Then, if I ever get through it, I'll peruse the most current list again and see what's new. This is my plan. I'm at 67 beers on the Top 250 right now. I figure I'll take that screen shot if I ever get to 100.
