Initial results on untappd look very promising!

Yeah, especially for the double barrel. Sadly looks like the pistachio is too subtle...Oh well, we'll see soon.

How much are the shirts? Are they cash only? I can't remember from last year. Excited for 7:30

So is the double barrel the same as the "reserve"?

$17 per shirt, reserve discount applied on that, cc/cash at the counter. They had tons of shirts this year.

Well run event. I'm glad they didn't oversell or else the line for beer would have been too much. I was at 4pm session but 20 minutes late due to underestimating traffic coming from Pasadena. The glasses are really nice quality and unique. I picked up a second one at the bar for a friend. Choices were Black Tuesday 2014 which was much more drinkable fresh than it was been in years past or maybe my palate is more able to tolerate it. Nitro Black Tuesday 2013 was on the list but wasn't available so instead there was an orange is the Black Tuesday which was alright, pistachio Black Tuesday was made for Firestone invitational last June so it seemed the pistachio had faded a bit, double Black Tuesday was awesome, port Black Tuesday was great, sundae Black Tuesday was the blending competition winner but much too sweet for me. Wineification very different this year in a good way-the grapes come through nicely. They bought a huge wine press so hopefully we will be seeing more blends with grapes in the future. The food was nice and I liked that they served it to us instead of waiting in line.

    Well said @Goldstar81
My favorite of the night was '14 regular. Second place for the Sundae (I know, not a popular opinion :stuck_out_tongue:). Third place for the Port version. The pistachio was definitely the most disappointing (in terms of my high expectations, the beer was great as all the other BTs), so overall a great event.

Double Barrel BT is the same as reserve, except that instead of being an additional 12 months in a new barrel, it is only 6 months, ABV weighing in at 21.7, or at least that is what I was told, either way it was delicious

21.7%, wow....I wonder what the reserve will end up at.
