My target is west of the Mississippi River and has been on BA less time than me.

Content hint- Leaving to go to the store now to get a rare three taverns beer that just released. Which means there will be 2 days where you will drink the barrel aged, and non barrel aged version of a beer. To clarify since this sounds confusing to even me.

On 2 different days, you will have 2 beers to try. One barrel aged, and one non barrel aged. Same brew though.

Hint #1: The fourth reindeer as the song is classically sung.
Hint #2: Those frozen water droplets dripping from the roof of your house.

I have a feeling you are using the letters from the answers in some sequence. Like each hint is its own letter.

First two would be V for Vixen, and I for Icicle or S for Stalactites(sp?) I am assuming however that it might be your targets username or state shipping to. Which if you look at V and I together only 2 matches. Either Virginia, or @VinceMig. Where as Vs does not have any matches I can see.

This is all speculation however based on like I said if I am right about what the hints are.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who still tries to figure out @kgncfl 's clues :-)

Although @Seanhand_atl - you are pretty creative too with your puzzles. Now I don't feel bad about making you figure out your tracking number last time.

That could be a good thing or a really bad thing.

You would know better than I, but to Miami is 4400 miles, so I assume it'll narrow it down at least a bit.

I want to say "Challenge accepted" but that's Christmas day, and family > 154oz of 11% beer (especially if 22oz of it is infected), even if it is that good... If you want to send it for New Year's eve though, I might finally make a "I'm taking a break from drinking" resolution on the 1st!

Seriously though, I am a total vertical *****, I have no idea when I'll open any of the ones I have, but The Abyss would fit right in, and probably move to the top of the list.

oh wait, "almost willing" is not "i'm going to do it?" damn....

Not confusing at all, and extremely exciting. I'm not quite 100% convinced I'm your target, but assuming I am, I will say I support this wholeheartedly. In fact, I think I may need to make a change to one of my days specifically to incorporate this concept. (I have a 2-year vert planned, but not a barrel/nonbarrel side-by-side)

Oh OK -- I looked at a globe/map, and it looks like the distance from the US-Canada border to the North Pole is slightly bigger than the distance from NY to California, which I think of as 3000 miles. That's not exactly scientific though. I was gonna use mapquest, but kept getting choices like "North Pole, Alaska" and didn't feel like making any more of an effort.

So a bit of an update, I'm definitely revising the contents of my box a bit.

First the bad news; 2 of the 5 Wants are proving much more elusive than I thought they'd be, so good chance they're not going to happen, but I'll keep looking. Though not Wants, I hope you will not be disappointed in their replacements.

Second, some more bad news; I went looking for a Barrel/Non-Barrel pair, and again struck out finding the pair I was looking for....fresh. You'll have to suffer through a 2-year-old bottle of the base, and a 3-year-old bottle of the barrel aged version. I hope you can forgive me. This pair will replace one of the two MIA Wants.

Cant hit alot of your wants target, but dammit If my box does not cause an earthquake, and I will pray for you for some of the days to get it done.

Also...here is my haul from the store I went to earlier. mmmmmm pr0n. I am currently enjoying alot of it.

That's not just BBQ, that's BBQ with cherries. I wasn't totally thrilled with BBQ (though in fairness, it was during a bottle share and not long after a 4-year Dark Lord vertical...) but either way I'm definitely looking forward to trying the cherry version sometime, it showed up at my bottle shop and while I passed it over today, I'll probably wind up with it soon enough.

And I swear to god if my *ahem* "your target's" box contains 36 expedition stouts, I *ahem* "your target" is not drinking them all in one day. SRS.

disclaimer: I don't actually know that you're my sender, I only have it narrowed down to like 19, but your clues seem to point right at me, so I'm speaking as if you are.

Also: why do you "need" 36 Expeditions?

edit: Upon looking up their BA page, I'm wondering, is there such a thing as BBQ without cherries, or is that just what the beer is? Either way, my biggest objection to it was not flavor-based, but that it was a bit thin; and having had it so soon after Dark Lord, I admit to potential bias.

I believe it is all cherry, I am gonna throw it in the cellar and let it sit for a while.

    Haha
I believe the question you should be asking your self is why should you not have 36? Can age each one for a year, adding a year on each time until your at like a 23-28 year old expedition stout.
In all seriousness, going to a buddy in Cali!

Haha that would be an epic box for someone to go through. 07-13 Abyss vert and 4 year Bbomb vert, plus 36 expeditions spread through out to keep the permadrunk going!

Because there are 35 other stouts I'd like to have a single bottle of instead; or, if you prefer, 5 other stouts I'd like to have a 6-pack of instead. I crave variety.... tickers gotta tick.

No no no you are missing the point of the expedition. It would be just the filler beer in between all the other beers to keep the buzz going. Haha, but nahhhh I will not be sending any expedition stout in my box.

@Seanhand_atl that Heavy Bells is delicious and wonderful. My target will most likely be getting one too.

I concur. I just got almost 2 six pacts of it and I am keeping my eyes open for another. It's fantastic fresh and even better aged! But I'm not a ticker and 12 oz bottles are so easy to drink when I find the time to have a bottle. That's why I have recently made some bomber for 12 oz trades!

    Lurks.....back.........out

Speaking of those bomber for 12oz trades, did you and I ever sew anything up? I had a long list of wants of yours, but don't know what conclusion (if any) we came to. And stop lurking and join, as long as you two both agree to it, @DooshBagalow and you are all set to be each other's targets.
