Olde Hickory distributes to all of NC, and according to seekabrew.com, they have limited distribution in Tennessee. I've seen their beers in Knoxville, not sure about anywhere else. Looks like you'll have to travel north or trade to get some.
    Cheers!

Extremely happy and lucky that I was able to score a six pack of this. Smalltown Not Your Father's Rootbeer (5.9%abv version). Of course it tastes just like rootbeer, which I enjoy very much. Surprisingly though, I think the alcohol comes through more on this one than the 10% version.

Had a bunch of this same batch. Sadly it peeked a little over 2 years out. The chocolate is gone and the oak had become the dominant flavor. Strange enough there was almost zero roast flavor left. Still fairly well carbonated considering the age.

Nectar Ales (Now back to Humboldt Brewing) Black Xantus Imperial Stout. If you did not do your research on this beer, you would probably pass this up every single time you saw this at a liquor store. But if you did, then you would know that Firestone Walker had a lot to do with this beer. They bought this brewery a while back and blended different barrel aged beers to get this product. It's aged for a total of 6 months in bourbon barrels, retired Firestone Walker Union barrels, and wine barrels and is a blend of all of these. Oh yeah, local gourmet coffee is added to this too. Big roasted coffee, fudgy dark chocolate, bourbon (without the heat), oak, vanilla, fruitiness from the wine barrels, and sweet carmel to balance everything out. Very smooth for 11%. A surprisingly complex and well done beer!
