It keeps changing, but right now it's basically by style and size. Little guys (mostly BCBS and Bigfoot) in one box, and three boxes of big guys: a stoutish box, a barleywineish box and a sour/saisonish box.

Yeah, only three boxes. My friends last weekend though I was a nutcase to have that much beer.

 

If your friends need convincing of your sanity, I can snap some photos from around my house. At this moment I have 16 loose bottles on the computer table alone and another 28 on the dining room table ...that doesn't even start to cover cases

 

Not bad. If you get thirsty, you just reach out and crack one.

Drinking lots tonight

 

Final "Badass, Awesomest Hints Ever" #5 will be given tomorrow morning, aka "D Day"...or (since I'm a teacher and I also like puns) "PD Day" (Porch Destrcution Day).

 

I have been looking into the possibility of coming to the tasting. I think I'm not gonna make it. I work every other weekend so leaving for another weekend puts a lot of strain on the family. Not completely ruled out but might just be sending a box of goodies for all you guys.

 

I have an Excel spreadsheet with Vlookups, conditional formatting and etc. Have a sheet for tastings so any beer is highlighted in red if it is for a tasting, unless I have more than one, then it will just remove the quantity I am bringing. I also have numerous places for my cellar and have them all listed on a cellar tab. I do audits every once in a while to catch up with drunken raids of the cellar.

Oh yea, I also made my own fancy website to include pictures and more information of all my beer, because I am a damn geek.

This is what my spreadsheet looks like, but iit's not as well looked after, I get behind on upkeep in a hurry (this is the problem with drinking large quantities and having even larger quantities coming in the house)
