SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

We shall see, my wife (aka the videographer) works 3 12-hour shifts Thu-Sat, so she's not likely to have a ton of time to film me doing stupid shit today. Tomorrow is more likely, and (please accept my apologies...) Monday the most likely of all. Yes, I am more likely to do a beer-related challenge on a Monday than on the weekend.

the food highlight was a cornbeef sandwitch from Mannys deli, was about 2 lbs of meat and the best cornbeef i have ever had.

I'm really glad I'm not close enough to the other PA guys to be a part of this war with the FIBs, I don't have the cash or ammo to be able to retaliate to any of these boxes flying around. I did just get these yesterday though:

Been watching this whole game Joel, with money on the Cocks +7. Was happy when they went up early and then they fell to shit. Two blocked kicks late?! You must be near heart attack status.

 

I only want...You oh and beer.

The general had a long night last night. Let's see if I can recap what took place.

I leave work early on a 1/2 day. Head home to change and grab the required zip up hoodie for entry to FOBAB. (really it was like 25 degrees out so that's the FIB attire in this weather). Stop off to grab a brother in law and an @saemick Run to @blue-dream house. Meet up with him and his neighbor, Carl. Carl was supposed to drive us to the train station. Once all inside the caar, Carl asks if he could drive us to the event. We say sure but quickly ask why. He response was classic. He says you mentioned corned beer sandwich's, I really want one now. So we drive to Manny's, which happens to be across from south loop Binny's. Decide that we need to have a beer before food. South loop has 2012 BC on tap. Have a glass, head to Manny's for the aforementioned 2lb sandwich. We part ways with @saemick as he had early entry to FOBAB. The rest of us head back to Binny's as they tapped 2010 BC. After that, we get back into Carl's Jeep. Head towards the event. In true BA fashion, we stocked more people in a car than there were seats for. Chinese fire drill while in left turn lane to get out and stand in line for entry. Head inside to wait a bit where were we greeted by @Lkoro with s sneaky sample of this years Prop. SCORE! Enter the event and drink entirely way too much. Tried as much as I could. Highlights were this years Prop, Coffee and Vanilla. Did a little mixing with the Coffee and Vanilla, tasty! Also another highlight was Atlas brewing Rum Barrel Aged Intemporelle Quad. I think I sampled way more than I should have. Walk around meeting some great folks. Meet up with another IL boy @bcm75 Was great to meet him and share a beer. Get stopped by super cute girl who hands me her tickets for beer and tells me I'm cute. I think she is way over served as that cannot be remotely true. We all have a few more beers than leave. 5 drunk guys walking towards the train. Decided it would be better to flag a cab down. Failure. Flag an Uber driver down. Pile into car, again more bodies than seats(hence aforementioned picture of me on others laps). Pay Uber driver "off the record" $100 to take our drunk asses back to @blue-dream house. Stumble out of the cab and make enough noise to wake the dead. Head to the dreams basement where we decided to have a few more beers. Then after a few beers we part ways and I head home. Apparently @saemick and the 2 other fellas I was with went back and had even more at his place. My liver hurts today and I am ready to go again.

Was a awesome night drinking beer with even better people. The only thing that would have made the night better would have been to have all of you there.

I absolutely love all the new avatar changes and all the banter that took place in the past few days. @Mipper @PA-Michigander @Lehighace06 @Houser @phishbfm Hope you fellas enjoyed the packages you received. It was not all my doing. I had a lot of help from @blue-dream @end_27 and another mysterious fella @IPAFan521 We had a blast doing it.

I've already got the pork shoulder on the egg, and a KBS in my belly... Come on 7PM. I'm ready for the Dawgs to eat some Tigers for dinner.

 

Must be a good thing as I'm also on the Dawgs -2 to beat Auburn. I think they are paper tigers this year!

 

I took the chance to do this a month or two back when GI was doing bottle pours of the original Vanilla while Coffee was on tap... it was incredible. I'm praying I can get 2 bottles of this year's vanilla so I can drink one straight and blend the other the same way. Good to hear you gents had a good time, I'm pretty jealous of how awesome that event looked!
