Can you El Cat members elaborate a little more on the membership and its benefits? And if you think it's worth it, is there a waiting line to get a membership or are they readily available? I don't see any links on their website.

For $150 you get 5 guaranteed bootles and a Teku. You also get a chance at additional bottles (lottery now), Grandmule, Leon so far and usually an extras of the guaranteed ones. I think it's worth it compared to prices of a lot of the Reserve societies.

Is it tiered like Bruery or is it just a flat rate? Can anyone sign up at anytime or is it once a year?

I'm in Central Jersey, and it wasn't me. I'm staying out of this crazy war as I don't have the ammo to keep up with you guys.

No, $150 is it. You get your 5 bootles and glass with that, anything else is a "bonus". The first year sold out quick and this year you had to go to CCB for whatever spots opened up. Actually it's not once a year, it ends after they release the 5 guaranteed bootles.

I like el cat better then RS for the Bruery. I think it's pretty fair, no BS and you don't need to be a billionaire to make real use of it.

It's limited to 1500 members for now though, with 1st right of refusal. Last round only 100 or so people dropped out. If memory serves, they sold most of the open allotments in person at the brewery.

Tl:dr you're probably not getting in.

I'm not an el catador member but I was fortunate to get a text saying I was getting an AB Leon  I've never even had the original Leon though so I may be looking for that as well for a scientific side by side comparison. How is Leon compare to some of the greats like king Henry and Aaron?

I've got nothing on the ground. A few flakes in the air here and there. Thankfully we're about 30 miles south of the lake effect zone.

Crazy images of the NYS Thruway make me glad to be right where I am.

No salt, tons of blood orange. Quite similar to gozu actually.

I foolishly did not use the trading system… figured this forum demonstrated enough street cred.

I've sent about a BM per month. I have his cell number, so I should really try that before I go any further. But if you have any more info, that would be fantastic.

No havent tried that either, chicago is lacking in gose and sours/wild ales / lambics , it sucks big time cause thats what i love. First time i tried westbrook gose was when @zookerman182 came up here and it blew my tastebuds and my mind. I had never tasted something so fucking good, now im always ISO goses.
Side note - did you see the msg from that guy? He uped his offer.
