Everything I've tried by Great Divide... the Yeti's, Old Ruffian, their IPA's. I cannot comprehend the ratings for these beers.

Duvel, but it's because I'm not a fan of any APA/IPA/DIPA/Belgian Strong Pale Ale...you get the point. I can understand that. BUT Gulden Draak...what a crappy over rated crap. And I love dark heavy strong beers. IMO it's very poorly executed brew.

I realize it's more fun coming up with a really popular brew you don't like and sharing it here, like hating the Founders Breakfast Stout when it's almost universally loved, but one beer I just hate isn't popular here anyway and I'll choose that one as my hated beer…I'm using the word hate…is Blue Moon. Any variety. It's just so awful. And what makes it more awful is that the sheeple out there who buy it thinking it's crafty and en vogue to drink Blue Moon enjoy sharing it just like I like sharing my truly good beers. And when I'm around these people and it's not my event where I've got access to my own beer, I've got to deal with pretending to like this shit and being thankful for the share.

Maybe I'm being shitty and ungrateful. But trying to pretend like I'm grateful someone handed me a free Blue Moon is like like trying to pretend that I'm grateful if someone took a shit in their hand and handed it to me to consume.

Look, I'm grateful for the gesture of the beer as a gift - these people don't get it, and I understand that. They think they get it, but they don't. It's okay. And it's okay for me to pretend to be happy and sip one as best I can. But it sure does make for a longer evening…

And, it's possible they really do like Blue Moon.

Some of posts seem to be in the "disappointed in" versus "not like". My true not likes start with Rübæus, and include Matt's Burnung Rosids (neither highly talked about, but both decently rated). Truth is, though I may not be a fan of a beer or think it's "good", I rarely dislike a beer, and I'd even be willing to retry those two I just mentioned to re-verify (but pretty confudent they're not good for my tastes).

On the highly disappointed end is Oak-Aged Yeti, which I rated more highly based on style attributes than my actual enjoyment. I like quite a few other Yeti varieties though, so this was a tad strange to me.

Utopias AKA the $200 beer that tastes like a $50 cognac!

I agree on Great Divide, I'm always unimpressed by them. Also I've had a few tired hands beers and was underwhelmed by all of them, especially given the borderline fanaticism about them.

I don't understand why Yeti is anywhere on this list. That stuff is delicious!

3 F's. I hate to knock a good local brewery but their stuff is very good but not worth the outrageous prices the beer is selling for. The cheapest 6 packs start at about $16 and go up from there. Many liquor store owners act like they are doing you a huge favor by selling you any and talk about how hard it is to get. I tried to buy a sixer of Fountainhead recently and saw the price of $23.99 and figured it was a mistake. I found out it was the correct price and left it on the counter and walked out the door.

Double & Triple Sunshine. Would like to revisit Double Sunshine to see if my mind has changed but I prefer my IPAs lighter with more bite.

Another vote for Ballast Point Sculpin. I really should like this beer (color, head, lacing) but the nose and the taste come across as a little skunky to me. I thought I may have had a bad bottle the first time but have had it twice since and same effect both times.

Never been a huge fan of arrogant bastard, and lagunitas brown shugga. I am pretty open minded with different styles of beer but for whatever reason these two have always stood out to me as beers I just don't like for some reason.

the over-the-top mango/caramely sweet DIPAs ... Burton Baton, Resin, 120 Minute ... don't like them.

and I'd take every other imperial stout/porter I've tried over BCBS. Ten Fidy, which you can find 365 days a year for a very reasonable price, makes BCBS taste like pig swill.
