Anyone know of a place that has hipster brunch around GR? Struck out at the usual places, just starting to wonder if I missed distribution of it completely...

I actually thought it wasn't all that peanut buttery. Tasty though.

Willoughby blows it away and I will try the version at Bob's brewery in downtown GR and report back.

 

Didn't know there was still bottles left at Oddside. I'll have to call them tomorrow. But if anyone knows of a bottle shop with some let me know. I'd love to pick up a couple bottles or a four pack without having to drive for an hour and a half (I'm a little south of GR).

 

The pb Porter at the BOB is amazing. Its like drinking a Reese's.

BA Mayan Mocha showed up the tuesday after its brewery release, and it's tuesday now... *crosses fingers, goes to shop for beer at 10am*

 

Morning wood was in metro Detroit distro since last week, havent seen hipster brunch yet.

 

Sloppy seconds of Hipster Brunch hit Kalamazoo today. Tiny amounts though. Should hit GR today or tomorrow as well. Your best bet is to call the brewery. 'Tis better to drive there and get a few 4-packs than to try to hunt down one bottle at a time.

 

Looking for some Hipster Brunch and Morning Wood. Have some BCBBW and BCBS to offer or whatever else from WI you'd like. Cheers

 

Morningwood has been around about a week and hipster brunch is due to hit SE MI this week.

 

I bought a couple of these bottles. The second one seemed much different though, in the sense that it was very nutmeg forward, and had the consistency of sludge. It was still somewhat enjoyable, but I am curious if anyone else experienced this?

 

Well I'm not sure which of the three you are referring to as this thread seems to have evolved to cover all of Odd Side's recent barrel aged releases. I've actually had all three and didn't experience the consistency you mention in any.

BA Mayan Mocha was good, but not totally to my taste. Morningwood is one of the best beers I've had in a while...Hipster Brunch was even better though.

I am interested to know which of the three you are referring to though. Also, did you buy the bottles at different times?
