Been tempted, but I can't lie - Seattle beer fests spoiled me, both in terms of cost and beer. $50 seems a bit . . . steep. Not that I haven't paid it in the past, of course! So, still thinking about it.

No time left to say hello to Adam though! The Lees and the 120 I can get in Ithaca, but those growler fills do sound pretty good.

Syracuse is doing a better job in the last year or so but is not the equal of Buffalo or Rochester. Syracuse does not have a beer store in the same arena as Beers of the World or Premier Gourmet. Rochester has more breweries and Buffalo's Blue Monk is the best beer bar outside of the NYC area in NYS IMHO. I could go on but I'm happy that all 3 are improving every year. Cheers to upstate!

Yes having lived in both cuse and roch (and travelling to buffalo frequently) I would definitely say Rochester has the best beer scene right now of the three. A bunch of new breweries, some great beer bars, good stores. Rochester has really ampd it up the last 3-4 years. Cuse is a bit better now with the co-op and new galeville but bar wise, beer fest wise and brewery wise it is a bit stagnant in comparison. Nonetheless all three have made strides

Also I am very weary of a attending this new cuse summer beer fest. Hi cost and low expectations for success. I think we may save our money and do the old toad cask fest that weekend instead

For those interested: DFH Positive Contact is at Galeville, $62.99 for the set.
Also found out that Ruination 10th Anniversary should be hitting the shelves next week... Cheers!!!

Singles are available at the coop for $10.99, if you don't want to take the plunge for the 6.

Sweet! I'll be grabbing a sixer on the way home from work tomorrow night! Great brewery that limits what they push out so they can make sure they are making an impact on their styles.... (Make it two six packs)

Got one, maybe two sixers left at the coop, might try to get more for tomorrow, but I already snagged mine.

Only snagged a case, will try to get another 2 tomorrow. I just had my first, it is a tasty brew, relieved my palate. Alto put on the Resin tonight, it is drinking pretty fantastic. Makes me want to tap mine tomorrow.

We'll fill that 750 soon. I also might mention that the first bottling (December) of Rayon Vert is officially over in the Syracuse area, so if you see it around snag what is left. Good news is that Sheehan has put in an order for more.
