Looks like folks who were in line after 7:30 missed out.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the limit drop next time. Glad I showed up early.

Per MBC's tweet at 10:14 this morning Dinner sold out. They sold 350 cases, everything they yielded. It will be on draft at the brewery 12-7.

Sorry if this was asked earlier. Anyone know how many bottles in a case?

Had a work emergency come up and couldn't make it to the release. Fingers crossed Novare, Slab or someone else gets a keg so I can try this batch.

I posted this in another thread but this release was a little unsettling....apparently someone showed up at 11pm last night in line.....lol I mean come on! Every release seems to get a little more intense. Please bring back a 4 bottle limit and a Wednesday morning release to deter the hoarders and show some love to the locals.

A 4 bottle limit would surely change things. I know for a fact I wouldn't drive 3 hours through the sleet and rain if I was only going to be allowed 4 bottles. I'll admit it is a great beer and maybe if there other beers were better than you could get a mix and make it worth the trip. But IMO the rest of there line up just isn't that strong.

It just doesn't make sense to me why they have a limit of a case for a beer they urge you to drink immediately....4-6 bottles would suffice. Especially when they know the demand.

Seriously, I swear just about everyone I talked to at the release today drove 3-6 hours to get to MBC. PA, NY, and NJ were representing based on my small sample size.

if they dropped the limit, i doubt the hype of the release would be the same, and to be honest i think that they love the hype and spectacle. people drive from all over and probably wouldn't for 4-6 bottles of it. i talked to people from rhode island, vermont, CT etc in line today. yes there was someone camped out in a tent since 11pm the night before... and also a guy wearing shorts and flip flops in 20 degree snow/freezing rain... people that were strolling up at like 7:45-8 thinking they were going to get any are nuts.

I would hope the general consensus here is that if you're sleeping in a tent, overnight, outside the doors of a brewery, for some bottles of a DIPA, you're officially the worst.

I seem to remember Shaun Hill of Hill Farmstead going out early one morning, basically in sleeping attire, telling people the same.

I got in line at 4:30. Was 30th or so in line. Is it crazy? Sure! Is it a fun adventure to have with friends? Absolutely!

This is probably the craziest release I've heard of from New England. I've been to several Lawson's and Alchemist truck sales which had more beers for sale and the lines weren't that crazy
