Where are you at if you don't mind me asking

 

Pulled something from the cellar tonight. Had this for over 6 months. Other than fizzing uncontrollably, it was a really good porter!

Finally cracked open the first of my Peaches... An incredible brew for sure.

Anyone want to guess the connection between these two breweries? The clue is in the pics.

 

Bier De Noel from Relic Brewing Plainville, CT. Belgian winter ale, I must say is quite good.

 

The follow up was an Imperial Porter from Thomas Hooker, Bloomfield, CT. This too is another top notch offering from the Nutmeg State. After driving in the pouring ass rain all day in said state, I thought I would drink beers from there.

 

More details please. Is this a new batch?!?

A friend from Cali dropped off some Lost Abbey. I started with Judgement Day.

 

This stuff is just stupid good, I could drink it by the gallon....

I'm working on some freelance drawings right now, and enjoying what turned out to be a fantastic blend-

Both beers are 7%, so that makes then even more compatible. Between the slight barnyard of the brett, the fruity yeast signature, and hint of roastiness, this is exactly what I imagine original Porter was like. Damn, I gotta do this again!
