    Beer plans took a left turn: Sorachi Ace. But a damn good left turn. Really love this beer.

    Rayon Vert may still be in the works for tonight, as I'm still in a celebratory mood from learning yesterday that I'm going to be an uncle!

    Oh dear god I am melting!

    Nevertheless, I just found out that the Uno's by me just got Weihenstephaner back in and I promptly had one with supper. Water for the rest of the night though so I don't die.

    I have a bottle I ordered from Charleston Beer Exchange coming tomorrow. It won't last long. I should have bought many more bottles when I was there over Memorial Day weekend. I could drink this shit for breakfast every morning!

    I actually drank the regular Biscotti for breakfast... The only thing I'm regretting about the Imperial is that I cracked it at night =/

    Nice! I've only had regular Biscotti on tap, and IBB (even in bottle) blows the regular version out of the water. Wish it was distributed locally, would buy a case.

    Had Weyerbacher Merry Monks and Blithering Idiot on tap earlier today and then followed that up with Ron Zacapa 23 Solera Gran Reserva BA rum when guests surprisingly showed up. The latter has nothing to do with beer but has a lot to do with the barrel aging process with a blend of rums aged in barrels that held Bourbon, Sherry and Pedro Ximenez wines. Not a huge fans of rum but this has got to be one of the smoothest rums I ever tasted. Cheers.

    Another NEBCo beer that's on the scene before I've even heard of it? Yikes, I gotta get back in the loop.

    As for me, starting off with a nice refreshing Hop Sun. May go for one more later.

    On my morning commute, I cycle down 16th St in DC, and I swear to friggin god... living in this urban area I have seen MORE DEER in my lifetime than rural trips and meanderings anywhere else. I was nearly 18 feet away from a doe before I slammed on my brakes, while the little fawn came out of Rock Creek Park behind her.

    I was shocked they weren't turned into hamburger in the morning rush... and off they went into the neighborhood heading East ..

    and to fit the mood... this is probably what is most deserving...
