Rayon Vert is indeed in the works. From what I've been told, all the stock in my area is still from the first batch that arrived here, so the brett's had some time (4-5 months) to develop . . . and this is one funky bastard. LOVE IT.

How'd you like the ZON? I've yet to break into the bottle I've got in the fridge but I've heard decent things...

Not as good as on tap. Kind of disappointing. But still ok.

Watching Workaholics. Probably it for me.

    Cheers.

Drinking some Sam Adams Noble Pils in this ridiculous heat. 101 on the way home today (June in MA not so common). Wasn't fully prepared and I think there is literally a 30 degree difference between my AC'ed room and the other rooms. I hate living on the third floor so much.

mild pairing update, cisco lady of the woods goes unbelievably well with cheese ravioli in vodka sauce (with some garlic and basil bread). i figured i was going to ruin the beer, but somehow all the oak and lactic sourness and fruity flavors are being accentuated. i really don't know anything about pairing.

The majority of good music was before your time, no matter how old you are. Same goes for us old guys. Way too much history there to believe there was nothing good before our stuff came along.

Jamming out to some Miles Davis Live Evil on vinyl, drinking my first Dominion Oak Barrel Stout. Right on with this beer. Nice light body, lots of flavor and good complexity. Cheers!

There was a thread on here a while back about having a beer with historical figures (who, and why?) and I think my first answer was Franz Liszt. Stark raving genius, the original rock star long before rock existed, and just all around gnarly. Plus, I really love Liszt's work.
