    Had a great freaking time in Worcester (Mass) last night. Pre-gamed the hell out of the Opeth show at Armsby Abbey; met some new folks, ate some good food, had a great time.
    Started with a FW Velvet Merlin, stepped up to a Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper (oak-aged, but not the bourbon version; absolutely delicious), and finished it off with a bottle of Cantillon Classic Gueuze.

    I grab the Cantillon when I see it, which apparently is about twice a year. This was a 2013 bottle, and it was truly exceptional. Blows away all but one Gueuze I've ever tried (3F Golden Blend; that, too, is exceptional). Armsby Abbey was excellent; the food was good, the beer was better, the staff friendly and professional. No pics; I consider that rude to new friends.

    The show rocked; Opeth was tremendous. I commented a couple times in last night's thread, but I signed off for the evening before Opeth. Still, got in one (crappy) pic:

    But this thread is about what I'm drinking now, after all, and I wouldn't recap last night's awesomeness without something in my glass today:
