Looking at the poll on the site, it seems that only 28% are in favor of banning the beer; the other 72% support leaving the beer be. At least the majority of the people polled are sane, on the internet that's an achievement in my book! Also agreed on the Buzzfeed article, total clickbait.

For the sake of it all, I will take one for the team and store away the rest of the available product in my basement.

Lets get the ball rolling and set time for delivery!

I never understood why they made Gandhi a robot.

I believe the story Rob told on how they come up with the name was basically, "India Pale Ale...India...Gandhi...comes in a can...robot. Oh, Gandhi-bot of course."

Also, I met a very nice Indian couple at the Nebco tasting room who came there just because they heard of Gandhi-bot nd wanted to try it. They were not offended by the name and were just curious to try the beer, which at least one of them enjoyed.

Sure, but later they were burning you and the NEBCO staff in effigy using pics they took of you that day.

I'd only be annoyed because I'd like to see as little of Reagan's face as possible :|

Political correctness and its ever-expanding, seemingly innumerable facets and nuances was not developed to such a fine, speech-crushing art by people who favored Reagan. Most of them highly valued the Constitution and its First Amendment.

While your post misses my point entirely, its thrust and wording make my point entirely.

"He claims that using the name and picture of Mahatma Gandhi is condemnable and punishable according to Indian laws and amounts to an offence under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and Section 124-A of the Indian Penal Code. He added that it is an insult to Mahatma Gandhi."

Well it's a good thing we live in America and not fucking India now init?

This story non story is just a bunch of dumb sh%t.

The real story is the one from Boston Magazine in regards to Jim Koch and Boston Beer Co. That's some heavy stuff and reading. Great guy, great beer, facing new challenges. Enjoy all of the day old green IPA's for now. Those baby will slowly become less and less available and Koch's beers will still be pouring all over. I love both and will gladly drink a Boston Lager after a Heady. It's just beer...

This is just pointless, people need to stop taking everything so seriously, and stop being offended by everything. There are things called jokes in life. People need to be able to laugh a little and enjoy life rather than searching for things that are offensive. It's just time until people become offended by the Hebrew beers or "Even more Jesus."

My point was that supporters of the First Amendment who revere Reagan would be unlikely to object to a beer named after Reagan, or anyone else, as long as it wasn't obviously slanderous. If that reinforced your point, good.
